Using a total US legal population of 318 million people if $13 billion were distributed equally each person could expect to receive $41 dollars each.

Meanwhile the government spends $4 million a minute and $6 billion a day to remain operational and they're trying to make a big deal about returning $41 dollars to the people in an unbacked currency that's attached to $0 of positive and directly attached to -$37 trillion of ever increasing debt.

So what is the government really returning to the people?

Nothing it's just a feel good story and headline IMO.
