Dr. Sukanthini "Suki" Subbiah is charged in Florida with aggravated manslaughter for standing at a pool's edge and watching a child in her care drown for 5 minutes. She then entered the water but did not attempt a rescue.

The child remained underwater for seven minutes before a bystander pulled him out. Unsurprisingly, the child died.
