🚨NIGERIAN POLICE: Just imagine being threatened by police officers simply because you're a young woman driving a car and running a successful business.
In a country where young people are constantly encouraged to work hard and become self-reliant, it's troubling when success is met with suspicion instead of support. Owning a car at a young age should not be treated as a crime, nor should entrepreneurship become a reason for intimidation.
No citizen should face harassment for achieving success through legitimate means. 🇳🇬💔🚔
@AsakyGRN@asemota I think it will be good to consider, if anyone complains about the police and has evidence of what happens, the person should be invited by @PoliceNG_CRU@PoliceNG_News and if investigation is carried out and the station where such happened is guilt, let justice take its place.
BENIN CITY – The National Association of Seadogs (NAS) has successfully concluded a community-driven medical outreach in Edo State, providing 120 residents with free screenings for breast, cervical, and prostate cancer, alongside comprehensive checks for other common health conditions.
The month-long initiative, which began on February 27 and ended on March 27, was held at the Centre for Disease Control, Department of Public Health and Community Medicine, University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH), Benin City.
The programme was sponsored by NAS Decks - Arabella (Benin 2), Batavia Subsea (Continental Europe), Hispaniola X (Lagos Island), and Terra Kona (Canada).

@PoliceNG_CRU A lot of complaints have been received against this particular guy. Whatever disciplinary action that doesn't include the immediate termination of his employment with the police will NOT be accepted. What effrontery! Man I am enraged beyond words. They are better off as bandits.
@PoliceNG_CRU Evidences of their full identities, ranks and backgrounds, the disciplinary actions and outcomes should be made public to restore public confidence and accountability on the part of the police! Anything short of these is another example of wasted energy!

BLOOD ON THE FLAG 🇳🇬
Today, we solemnly remember the tragic events of October 20, 2020 - a dark night at the Lekki Toll Gate when innocent and unarmed citizens, united in a call for justice and good governance, were met with brutal force.
We honour the courage of all those who stood for a better Nigeria and pay tribute to the lives lost and the voices silenced.
May their sacrifice never be forgotten.

NATIONAL CAMPAIGN AGAINST DRUG ABUSE & HOMELESSNESS
Saturday, 4th October 2025
Panama (Ikeja, Lagos State) in collaboration with Okavango (South Africa) on the Streets of Ikeja, Lagos State. Marching for humanity and raising awareness of the dangers of drug abuse and homelessness.
For Education, Justice and for Humanity, We March.
NATIONAL CAMPAIGN AGAINST DRUG ABUSE & HOMELESSNESS
Nigeria faces a dual and escalating crisis of widespread drug abuse and growing homelessness, particularly among young people and vulnerable populations. The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) reports that 14.4% of Nigerians (14.3 million people) aged 15–64 have used psychoactive substances, well above the global average of 5.6%.
Meanwhile, urban centres like Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, and Kano have seen a sharp rise in street-dwelling youths, internally displaced persons (IDPs), and the urban homeless, with limited access to shelter, rehabilitation, or mental health services.
Homelessness, driven by rapid urbanization, economic hardship, and insurgency, affects millions and exposes individuals to further abuse, hardship and stress-induced mental health conditions.
This campaign, themed “Pathways to Dignity”, will go beyond statistics to confront the human realities behind these crises, shifting public perception from stigma to support. By fostering empathy and understanding, we aim to build a more supportive environment for rehabilitation, recovery, and reintegration.
Combating drug abuse and homelessness also requires a national dialogue on socio- political accountability and citizens' welfare. The campaign seeks to catalyse that dialogue, demanding action from government and urging private organizations to fulfil their corporate social responsibility (CSR) in addressing these pressing issues.
The campaign aligns with several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including:
· SDG 3 – Good Health and Well-being
· SDG 1 – No Poverty
· SDG 10 – Reduced Inequalities
· SDG 11 – Sustainable Cities and Communities
· SDG 16 – Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions
Join us on Saturday, October 4th, 2025 to address this escalating crisis in Nigeria.

National Back-to-School Project
The NAS Street Child Project is an initiative of the National Association of Seadogs (NAS) instituted in 2013 to address the significantly high rate of out-of-school children in Nigeria with UNESCO and UNICEF statistics indicating that Nigeria accounts for 10.5 million of the 61 million “out of school children” worldwide as at 2013.
Determined to contribute its quota to humanity and makes a difference in the lives of these vulnerable children, NAS maintained that education was the key enabling factor that makes a great difference in children early life if they are exposed to education that help to energize their imagination.

Arabella Deck (Benin 2) and Batavia Subsea Deck (The Netherlands) collaborated to
mark #InternationalWomensDay with a series of impactful engagements involving resource persons who shared valuable insights on women’s empowerment and well-being, and a visit to Uselu Market. where Counsellor Ekhenlen spoke extensively on self-care, self-love, and the importance of prioritising mental health. During an interview, both resource persons reiterated the need for women to maintain their physical and mental well-being.
The National Association of Seadogs (Zuma and Sahara Decks - Abuja) has raised the alarm over the growing menace of scavengers, popularly known as “Babanbola” or Abuja Scrappers, who are wreaking havoc on the Federal Capital Territory’s (FCT) public infrastructure.

@nasmedical Kudos to @nasmedical@NASPC1952 ! Greater efforts are required to deal with the precarious and vulnerable population trapped in this location and others scattered around the Country!
Naka IDP camp is one of the many make-shift locations that shelter people fleeing from ethno-religious violence in Nigeria's Middle Belt.
Today's #NASMEDICALMISSION in the camp is the product of a fact-finding visit which established a gross inadequacy in healthcare systems.
