Had an incredible time in Buenos Aires 🇦🇷 at @labitconf—the longest-running #Bitcoin conference! Representing @btcverband, I joined @nickspanos and @d_mangabeira, with @MiliFortunata moderating, to discuss central banks’ global approach to Bitcoin and their “answer”: CBDCs.

Ja, die verkauften 50.000 BTC wären heute 1 Milliarde Euro mehr wert. Unter den aktuellen rechtlichen Bedingungen hätte jedoch kaum jemand anders gehandelt als die Generalstaatsanwaltschaft Dresden. Der Verkauf der Bitcoin ist nicht direkt die Schuld Sachsens, sondern liegt an den geltenden Bestimmungen. Anstatt den Verkauf zu kritisieren, sollten wir daran arbeiten, die Rahmenbedingungen so anzupassen, dass beispielsweise keine Haftungsansprüche entstehen, wenn Bitcoin nicht verkauft werden und anschließend stark an Wert verlieren.

Is today a good day for #Bitcoin? Hard to say. The only bright spot after the election is Ross’s release. As for Trump’s Bitcoin promises—they’ll likely go unfulfilled, much like nearly half of his last campaign promises. Time will tell. #FreeRossDayOne
