Peter Obi is partially right by saying "As a Nigerian youth, the system is already against you". But also wrong by using the likes of Bill Gates and Steve Jobs as examples, stating that they won't start if they were in Nigeria.

Femi Otedola, Dangote, and many others are in Nigeria, and started in Nigeria. The system is against Nigerians who have no connections or nepotism card. Children of politicians are occupying top offices and political positions across the country, aren't they youths? His own son is in the UK is he not? An ordinary person can't easily make such move.

Let's not forget he was/is part of the system. From PDP that made the system, to LP which is partly APC, then moved to ADC which is made up of former APC and PDP decampers. Even the NDC is made up of people who designed or encouraged the system he criticizes.

Remember he went back to the "Structure of criminality" he once criticized heavily too.

In direct response to the abduction and death of retired Major General Rabe Abubakar, the Defence Headquarters Joint Task Force North West has commenced a fresh major offensive named Operation Clean Sweep III across Matazu Local Government Area and neighbouring communities in Katsina State. The operation, which kicked off on Sunday, June 14, 2026, aims to hunt down and eliminate the bandits responsible for the retired general’s kidnap and subsequent death in captivity, while dismantling their operational networks in the region.

In a statement issued on Monday by Lt. Col. Aliyu Danja, Media Information Officer of the JTF North West under Operation Fansan Yamma, troops have already carried out intensive fighting patrols, intelligence-driven raids, cordon-and-search operations, and clearance exercises in identified criminal hideouts.

Peter Obi failed to address the issue of insecurity while he was a sitting governor, Adams Oshiomhole is misinformed but not entirely wrong. The Bakassi Boys crisis happened before Obi came into power which is the misinformation; However, Obi's failure to address insecurity is linked to the Akwuzu SARS crisis under the command of James Nwafor. A crisis that cost many their lives. Let's not also forget that he Obi, who claims to want a better Nigeria (free of insecurity problems) has associated with Gumi, a well-known terrorist sympathizer and advocate.
