In honor of International Week of Compost, we're shouting out our friends and partners at EarthFirst Films (by PSI) - producers of plant-based bioplastic films that are made from annually renewable materials and are compostable to ASTM D6400.

These food scraps feed animals, help build topsoil, and add to the company's living seed bank. Since the programs inception in October 2021, Ancient Nutrition has collected 742,652 pounds of food, working with 8 partners in 18 locations across 2 states!

Did you know that food waste accounts for 24% of all landfill material? That's why Ancient Nutrition works to collect the food scraps from partners and deposit them on their Certified Organic, Regenerative farms, literally turning trash into treasure.
