85% OF UKIYO USERS FIND JOBS

Ukiyo has launched the Global Student Support Platform (GSSP), a mobile app that helps young South Africans access education, bursaries, jobs, mentorship and student support in one place.

The platform aims to address the country’s high youth unemployment rate by making opportunities easier to find.

Since its private beta launch, more than 4,200 users have signed up, generating thousands of applications and enquiries for jobs and scholarships.

Ukiyo works with universities, businesses and community partners to improve employment outcomes, with 85% of participants in its programmes finding work within three months of graduating.

My farm car blew the top while I was about four hours away from home 😅

When then tow truck arrived, they asked me what's my next move.

I told them: I'm going to take a taxi home, but before doing that, I'm removing the cylinder head and taking it with me to engineering 😅

Guys thought I was joking 😅

About an hour later, the cylinder head was in the bag and I was in a taxi home 🤣

All that's remaining now is to put it back in on Monday.

All learned from online courses and a bit of stealing with the eye here and there 😂
