@BoxingNbt @BoxingKW1988 He looks like he's had a great camp, looks a lot sharper than I've seen him before. Got his weight absolutely spot on, but he's got be good for at least 7lbs between weigh in and fight
Things to take into account...
1. punch power
2. no. of fights experience
3. Big fight/stadium experience
4. Quality of opponents
5. Size
6. Stadium support on his side
I seriously can't see Usyk beating Bellew, but still think it will be a hard fight #bellewusyk
@Redmatty73 @BoxingNbt No not at all, but the way some people go on about him, you would of thought Bellew may as well just stay in his changing room. Usyk is a great boxer, but he isn't perfect, and can be beaten. I hope my fellow countryman beats him. That's all
Where do people draw their opinions from? Usyk is a good fighter but he is hardly an established seasoned pro with a 100% KO record. He has the skills to win over 12. Bellew has the power to finish him. It's wrong to not call it a 50/50 #BellewUsyk
@PulgasBoxeo Why am I a weirdo?? Usyk is a great fighter and has done a lot in a short pro career. 15 fights is early stages. Things like this can make a difference if Bellew can turn it into a dogfight. I could be wrong and TB gets schooled but calling me a weirdo is a bit.......weird, no?
@BoxingKW1988 Do you think? I reckon Bellew will be coming in well over weight. He looked sharp and light on his toes on the workout. I know Usyk is a great fighter, but I rate Bellew and like to get behind a fellow countryman
@BoxingKW1988 They're the same size now, I think Bellew will come in a lot heavier than Usyk on fight night. Its not just the number of fights, its the type of fights that Bellew has been in which makes him a much more experienced fighter
@AndyP792 It's the type of fights that Bellew has been in that I was referring to. Bellew has been in a number of dogfights and had to get himself up a number of times. This can make the difference in those later rounds. Usyk is a fantastic fighter, no doubt about it.
@IanChallis@Stocko3000@stevenwellings He's a gritty fighter. I know a lot of people don't take to him, but he does the ugly stuff well and can take opponents into his type of fight. We'll see on Saturday
@Stocko3000@stevenwellings Yeah could well be!! I do believe Tony Bellew is very underated for his boxing brain. Usyk is a great fighter, but he's not perfect, Bellew may well find the way to beat him. Wasn't a Bellew fan until he beat Cleverly
@NewAgeBoxingUK @JamieoneillNSNO @BigLarusso @SauerlandsFace It's a tool to use that is super effective against a southpaw. You can take a southpaw's jab completely out the game if they know they'll be getting a left over it every time its thrown. Again it comes down to who gets their feet right and dominates that outside position
@NewAgeBoxingUK @JamieoneillNSNO @BigLarusso @SauerlandsFace But an orthodox boxer with a good left hook is a nightmare for a southpaw with a low right hand, no? If Bellew can keep his foot outside Usyk then that left hook becomes a big problem for him
@AdamSmithSeaham@TonyBellew I'm jealous should be a cracker. Great undercard too. I think the fight is Bellew's to lose, he has an underated boxing brain and one of the best left hooks in boxing
Worse thing for a southpaw to go up against is an orthodox with a good left hook. They'll be jockeying for that outer foot position from go. @TonyBellew has the knowledge and power for that game #BellewUsyk
