In a moment of distress,a helpless mother approached OSC Kulgam late at night after her 3 year-old daughter was taken away by her sister-in-law.Acting swiftly,OSC Kulgam,with the support of SHO Kulgam,intervened and safely reunited the child with her mother.

One Stop Centres (OSC) offer integrated support to women facing violence or distress.

OSC provide a single point access for medical aid, legal assistance, temporary shelter, police help and psycho-social counselling under one roof.

"On 07/08/2025! A girl from Srinagar attempted suicide at Aharbal Waterfall due to family abuse, but timely police intervention saved her! She was handed over to Child Welfare Committee Kulgam, CWC placed a girl at Child Care Institution over night.

We got a call from 181 abt a victim of domestic abuse from Gulvun, Nandimarg.She was brutally abused by her in laws, so much so, she couldn't even move out from her house. OSC walked 4 kms by foot only to inquire about the victim. Assistance was provided to the victim.

"Behind the closed doors. A lady from Kund area was brutally attacked by her husband with an iron tool, her left eye was severely injured. She came before OSC on 19/03/2025. OSC kulgam immediately helped her to lodge a FIR against her husband in concerned Police station.

"URGENT CALL TO ACTION! Today, One Stop Centre Kulgam received a call from a brother seeking help for his sister, a domestic violence victim, at Humpathri DK Marg. Our team sprang into action, listening to her heartbreaking story.

On the evening of 16-06-24 cyber bullying case was referred by Women Helpline(181). OSC at the same time took action and referred the case to cyber police with the assistance of Special Cell for Women . On 22-06-24 respondent has been arrested.

International women day is being celebrated throughout the world in order to shed light on the achievements and contribution of women towards world. OSC also celebrated International Women's Day and took part in a programme organised by District Social welfare officer kulgam.

Coordinators of NCW- TISS implemented Special Cells for Women, Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh today visited the office of One Stop Centre, Kulgam and discussed the cordial relationship between Special Cell for Women and One Stop Centre.

More then 100 success stories, majority of cases has been resolved through counseling few cases by providing legal assistance, police assistance and even shelter has been provided to many cases. All survivors are happy with the service provided by One Stop Centre Kulgam.

Smiling moment for parents of a girl who has registered her case before OSC through 181. The girl was cheated by a boy and was using her social media accounts,due to which parents of girl faced humiliation . With the intervention of OSC the matter was resolved.

One Stop Centre on 02-11-2023 provided shelter to a women and her 5 year of child on request of Special Cell for Women, Kulgam. The women was abandoned by her family and was having no place to reside.
