Loads of nonsense talk. Low-IQ punditry and conspiracy. After scoring 30 goals , the club responded by making him one of the highest earners if not the highest, and then he fizzles out. He has no divine right to perform without effort and application which evidently is not there during training bcos we are not seeing it on the pitch when it matters. His potential is great, but we pay for results, which has been absent for two years. His off-field antics frustrate the club, as they would with any other club, and the club has the right to curb them since he isn't contributing to success while enjoying high wages. The new coach simply wants to see the best from him. If he were performing, this conversation wouldn't be happening. He's been taking the club for a ride too long; if he won't apply himself to help turn things around, and wants to leave that’s fine, he won’t be amongst the legends who bring this club back and it’s a missed opportunity in history, and we will be back and the coach and players who do that will be etched in the annals of history. So he should leave if he is not up for the difficult task ahead. He will do well elsewhere in a team that is already winning and established and I'd be happy for him. For now that is not United, we are in a building phase and it’s not easy.
