How is the world's number one global bank allowing its Hong Kong branch to provide sanctuary to verified, blacklisted criminal shell companies? For nearly four weeks, JPMorgan Chase HK has ignored official alerts regarding Account 63000315870 (Sichuan Shengtuoao Technology Co., Ltd.), which was used to execute a cross-border wire fraud scheme. Despite being issued an official UK Police reference (RF26070342290C), a Hong Kong Police reference (ERC2607251104231), and proof that mainland Chinese regulators have officially blacklisted this merchant as an uncontactable "ghost company," JPMC refuses to respond or freeze the account. Willful blindness to money laundering is a direct violation of HKMA Cap. 615 regulations. When a bank ignores its AML/KYC obligations, it becomes complicit in the theft. Time to call out JP Morgan Chase. A blacklisted Chinese company in Sichuan/Chengdu has been using an account in their HK branch as a corridor to commit wire and contract fraud. JPMC was alerted with several emails over the past one month. They have done nothing.@chase @jpmorgan

@opodo This is the worse service experience I have had. You have booked a journey from Lagos to Dubai. the govts of both countries are not allowing those flights. All attempts to get a human agent to deal with the issue has been frustrating. An agent promised to seek cancellation

@thecableng Many discuss Kanu's UK citizenship forgetting that he also holds Nigerian citizenship. Generally, UK will not intervene while his obligatios or jurisdiction is Nigerian in nature. Similarly, Nigeria will not intervene where his obligatios and jurisdiction is British.
