BREAKING: A dozen MAGA fans from northern Florida who snuck into Greenland to start an American colony for Trump just got arrested there, and the leader claimed his only regret is that he has but one life to give for Trump, though the Danish punishment is only deportation.
"the past will become as inaccessible as the future will be combustible.. I suppose the realist view is that our fire problem will ultimately be solved by burning all the fuel and then paving the ashes. In Southern California, catastrophic fire only fertilises more sprawl.”
‘The loss of more than 90 per cent of Southern California’s agricultural buffer zone is the principal if seldom mentioned reason wildfires increasingly incinerate such spectacular swathes of luxury real estate.’

The withdrawal from Afghanistan was the best thing a US president did in my lifetime. I had an oz of respect for Biden there for a bit but now that he is robbing the country’s central bank and creating the worst famine on Earth I’m back to having zero positive feelings about him.
This somehow feels even dumber than post-911 because everyone knows it’s about nothing but the US’s wounded pride or some abstract notion of influence.
I just think it’s really important that people keep in mind that folks in Washington arguing that the US should “stand up to Putin” or whatever in Ukraine are being paid boatloads of cash by Ukrainian lobbyists to even give a shit.
Reflecting on what made his critiques so poignant. So many of liberalism’s critics come off as misanthropes who think being correct is enough, but Michael had a way of always bringing his ideas across in good faith, no bs detached irony. Style=substance. RIP <3
This year I met this young American, a journalist, who turned out to be a friend, who I thought that we would meet again. How is it possible? My heart and prayers go to his family and friends. May his passion for social justice be remembered and inspire people around the world.
@SpyTalker So dumb. This dubious media narrative frames politics around Cold War struggles between nations, while oligarchs and their capital are borderless and behave accordingly.
📈Arsonist & fire brigade of social programs in order to commandeer the state for himself

The more you look into Bloomberg and who he’s in cahoots with the more it becomes clear that people like both him and Trump are waging war on all of us together.
On the phone with New Hampshire and so many undecided folks are amenable just based on name recognition and being heard. Def make calls for Bernie and keep up the positive vibes.
@ewarren Pure deceit. The notion that your money is cleaner than Bernie’s is laughable. Your war chest is Wall St. super PAC money left over from your Senate campaign. Plus you made your personal wealth in bankruptcy law defending companies that preyed on the developing world.
