Both overlap. Omo Ita graduates into Agbero; an Agbero starts as an Omo Ita. The line between both exists, as you have tried to show, but it is very blurry. Usually, when an Omo Ita does not resort to crime to survive, a major option left is to become an Agbero.
Nigerians mix those Yoruba words and meanings together. Agbero is different from Omo ita. Those who collect illegal taxes and run up to cars are Omo Ita which means street boys. And agbero are those garage boys. But some mumu Nigerians who aren't Yoruba will form tough like they know the meaning😂
Some of Lajamisan’s offspring: Lafogido, Lajodogun, Lafogun, Otujabiojo, and Owodo.
Owodo’s Section: Ooni Otata, Ooni Oye, Ooni Lapeleke, Ooni Luwo Gbagida (followed by Ooni Adejinle, Ooni Adebanle, and Ooni Adegunle Abewela)
Luwo was from Owodo, not Ogboru.
I submitted my final-year project today, and I feel truly fulfilled. The journey of writing it was exhausting at times, but here we are. 🎉
Special thanks to @osinlade@Lugard100@oladepo_jnr
If they left it at what it is supposed to be (a masquerade), the contribution would have been; social gathering, fun activities to ease people’s stress and just an exciting display of colorful cultural costumes.
But these bastards just want to attach mystery/juju to everything.
Those who were/are sharing the fake news that she had died thought they are promoting "their" belief system and its potency.
Whereas, they are demarketing their belief system, It would have shown their deity is bloodthirsty and merciless who doesn't allow mercy to erring humans.
@Gbadegesindami6 That is one problem with many people when it comes to the dynamics of the Yoruba sub-groups foundational to the origin and makeup of Modakeke. It was & is, primarily Owu, and that was why Ooni Abewela risked everything for it. That they speak Oyo was for diplomatic reasons.
There are people from Oyo-speaking towns. Then there are towns and people with actual Oyo origin. The largest and foundational group in Ibadan and Modakeke is Owu, for instance, but they speak a variant of Oyo today. Are they Oyo or Oyo-speaking Owu?
@snifideezy No mind am/them. They listed Origbo towns, Osogbo, Okuku, & several towns of non-Oyo origins but Oyo speaking due to migration of Oyyo groups as Oyo. Supremacy yi noni.
In fact it may even give a proper ground for the extremist adherents of introduced religions to demand for the ban or restriction of these practices.
Tired of these internet Isese people!
About the lady that had encounter with Oloolu: the news of her death, if true, is not a thing to break, post, or share. Those circulating the report must feel it proves a thing. To me, adds no value to Isese. It goes to reinforce the stereotypes invented about the practice.

Lol 😂
You know why she was affected? Because she is an empty lady in the first place.
The jinns and dark forces masquerades like Oloolu use feed on fear. There is a similar one I knew in the past in Isolo, it is called Eewo. They feed on fear.
And because the lady is spiritually naked, they could easily penetrate and mess with her.
In case you don’t know, what they are doing won’t cure her. They have just successfully enslaved her. Perhaps the Almighty may grant her his mercies elsewhere.
To my people, stick to your faith. For the one with Tawheed and faith, nothing will happen. No capping.
@bombassin The madness surrounding the ASUU issue was the straw for my camel. I dislike the party's philosophy towards opposing views and criticisms. The herd style of attacking the messenger, what they represent, and exploring punitive measures for daring to criticize. Crazy party!
That is how the APC operate. They hate opposition, especially from personalities associated with consequential bodies. They’ll attack the persons and what they represent. I saw how rabid and irrational they can get during the ASUU issue under Buhari.
Peter Obi and Tinubu proponents have turned the Cardinal's Position as Catholic Church vs Presidency.
It's very unfortunate.
The Cardinal is not infallible, and he's a Nigerian as well, he can have his opinion and the Presidency has the right to defend its position.
I love Akeugbagold.
This is a man who served for years as Chairman of the Board of the Holy Pilgrimage and has dedicated a large part of his life to Islam. Yet, one thing that has always stood out in his teachings is his consistent message of peace, tolerance, and peaceful coexistence among people of different faiths.
Promoting peace does not mean he is watering down Islam or throwing his religion under the bus. His only “offence” in the eyes of some people is that he does not support extremism and believes we can stand firmly in our faith while respecting others.
Yes, some people dislike him for that, but many peace-loving people, regardless of their religion, admire him for the same reason.
Seeking peace and tolerance with people of other faiths is not a betrayal of your religion. It is simply choosing unity over unnecessary division. As a country, we already have countless challenges demanding our attention.
Of all our problems, hating one another because of religion should be the least of them, àbí how does religious hatred reduce the price of milk or fuel?
