🇬🇧🇪🇺 Oil & European Stocks
Oil prices are falling again, and European stocks are reacting. 🛢️📉📈
Lower oil prices could ease inflation pressure and support airlines and consumers.
Who benefits most from this move?
@_maciej_r@PawlowskiMario Hey! Thanks for the follow back 😊 I’m glad we connected. X is full of interesting people, but genuine conversations are a little harder to find. So I’m curious—what’s something you’ve been thinking about lately that you’d love to discuss?
Was meinst du genau – welche Fakten kannst du dafür nennen?
Euronext vs Deutsche Börse
A potential Euronext–Deutsche Börse tie-up has put European market consolidation back in the spotlight. 🇪🇺📈
No talks are currently underway, but the idea raises a big question:
Could Europe eventually build a truly unified stock-market powerhouse?
🇪🇺 Europe is putting its industry first.
The EU is introducing new safeguards on imported electrical steel to protect European producers.
Smart industrial policy—or protectionism? 👀
What do you think? 👇
The scale of the issue is difficult to ignore: 45,774 people were detected arriving by small boat in 2022, the highest annual total on record. But the debate shouldn’t stop at the headline number—what policies actually work, and how should the UK balance border control, asylum obligations and public confidence?
@AndrewRemainEU@andyburnham The real question is whether Europe can turn political promises into a long-term, sustainable strategy. Supporting Ukraine is one decision; maintaining the financial and industrial capacity to do so for years is another. How should Europe balance security, spending and diplomacy?
@stuartbridger1@Nigel_Farage That certainly raises questions about priorities. If public safety is the reason for avoiding constituents, voters may reasonably ask why private meetings are still possible. Transparency matters.
@grayphil27 That’s a serious question. Marriage alone doesn’t prove anything about foreign intelligence involvement. If there’s evidence behind the claim, it should be examined carefully rather than reduced to speculation. What does the thread actually show?
@BoggisEdward What an incredible journey. ❤️ His strength and determination are truly inspiring. Ten operations and so many challenges, yet he kept moving forward. Stories like this remind us how powerful courage and perseverance can be. Wishing him continued strength and happiness. 🙏
@Tommo1312 Having biological research labs is not the same as having biological weapons labs. The real question is what those facilities actually did and what evidence supports each claim. Political narratives shouldn’t replace verifiable facts.
@LvL99Bard If 25,000 people really crossed the border, that deserves clear evidence and context. Numbers this significant shouldn’t be reduced to viral posts and assumptions. What actually happened?
@RafLee84@UKLabour Big claims need solid evidence. If politicians are accused of misleading the public, the real question is: where are the facts, and who should be held accountable when political rhetoric crosses the line?
@AxoAndy@Nigel_Farage That’s a strong accusation. Political careers should ultimately be judged by actions, decisions and accountability—not just by how persuasive the rhetoric is. The real question is: what do voters think the record shows?
🇺🇸🇬🇧 The U.S. and the UK are facing some of the biggest political and economic debates in years.
Immigration, inflation, energy prices, tariffs, AI regulation, defense spending and the future of international alliances are all becoming increasingly controversial.
Should governments focus more on economic growth and competitiveness, or prioritize stronger regulation and social protections? Should immigration rules become stricter, or should countries make better use of foreign workers to address labor shortages?
And when it comes to trade and tariffs, can protecting domestic industries really strengthen the economy without increasing costs for consumers?
The same questions are being debated on both sides of the Atlantic—but the answers could shape the next decade.
What issue matters most to you: immigration, the economy, energy, AI, trade, or national security? 🇺🇸🇬🇧
Let’s hear different perspectives. 👇
