The idea of creation and a creator is not a random magical notion. It follows a fundamental law of beginnings. There are many many things around us that are created by creators.

This is a very down to Earth basic approach to trying to grasp how everything came to be.

That said, we do indeed not know much about anything. But until we do, we have our suspicions. And that goes for all of science. Even the stuff we think we know for certain, when we probably don't.
