Yeah… I’m going to need a sec. After witnessing the destruction in Sulfur today, I have a hard time sharing some of the footage I have knowing it destroyed so many homes. Hoping that by some miracle no one got hurt. #okwx
Yesterday was such a sad day for many of our friends of Nebraska and Iowa, with horrific damage in communities like Lincoln, Elkhorn, Council Bluffs, and Minden. Other damaging tornadoes happened across parts of MO and TX. Our thoughts and prayers go out to those impacted by the tornado outbreak yesterday.
Another dangerous day is likely ahead for parts of the southern Plains, this time especially north TX, OK, and KS, including populated areas like Wichita Falls, OKC, Wichita and Kansas City. All we can do is increase awareness for these severe weather outbreaks before they happen and encourage preparation and activation of family safety plans. Stay tuned to severe weather watches and warnings today
Just watched an #aircanada employee lose THREE bags off their baggage cart. Tried to let another Air Canada rampee know and didn’t seem to care. Well, if you’re flying through #yvr#yvrairport tonight and you don’t get your bag, this is why. Sigh. #vancouverairport
Current conditions @ #yvr airport. 9 Aircraft inbound for deice. Most/all departing aircraft will likely be delayed for de-icing. #bcstorm#bcstormwatch#bcsnow
@HouckisPokisewx Since the only place C-GAWS (the reg of that aircraft) went in Canada yesterday was Calgary, I will infact agree with the majority and guess that as my answer. (“Nerd!” I know)
POV me just now realizing I posted all of last nights meteorological events on my personal account and not my storm account… le sigh. @stormhunterteam if you’d like to follow along with future weather phenomena, assuming I actually remember to use it next time 😅🤦♂️#bcstormwatch
The lightning stood me up but the debris did not. Managed to tow two partial trees off roads and cleared several large branches. What is sleep? #bcstorm#bcstormwatch
