As Adana Demirspor Club, we would like to inform the public and all relevant parties about the current situation of our club regarding the ongoing cases before FIFA and outstanding player receivables from previous periods.

At a time when Adana Demirspor was facing a heavy debt burden and serious risks of sporting sanctions, we, as supporters, took responsibility for the club in order to ensure that its activities could continue and that the club would not be left without support.

Today, Adana Demirspor is not financed by a powerful investor, company, or capital group. The club’s current resources consist of contributions collectively provided by our supporters and people who voluntarily support Adana Demirspor.

These resources are primarily used to ensure that the team can participate in matches and to cover staff expenses, away travel, facilities, and the continuation of the club’s essential operations. Therefore, our current financial capacity is not sufficient to cover all of the substantial debts remaining from previous periods within a short period of time.

We are aware that former players who previously represented our club have outstanding receivables arising from their contracts. It is their natural and legal right to claim these amounts.

A significant portion of the debts we are facing today did not arise during the current supporter-led administration. We took responsibility for the club together with these existing debts. Nevertheless, we are not avoiding our responsibilities. We are communicating with the relevant players, their lawyers, agents, and representatives in an effort to find solutions.

To date, we have held discussions with many creditors and continue to work toward resolving these cases within the limits of our financial capacity. We sincerely thank all former players and their representatives who have shown understanding of the club’s current circumstances and have provided flexibility through reductions, installment arrangements, and reasonable payment terms.

However, in some cases, we are faced with demands that are far beyond our current ability to pay.

Adana Demirspor’s ability to continue competing in the professional leagues and remain financially viable is important not only for our club but also for our creditors. If the club faces further sporting sanctions or falls out of the professional leagues, its revenues will decrease significantly and, as a result, the club will no longer have the financial means to repay its debts.

Our expectation is that the club’s current financial circumstances will be taken into consideration, that reasonable reductions will be considered wherever possible, and that agreements will be reached on realistic payment plans that the club can actually fulfill.

We do not deny our debts, nor do we wish to make commitments that we cannot fulfill. Our objective is to reach realistic and sustainable agreements that will allow us both to meet our obligations and to ensure that Adana Demirspor can continue its activities.

For this reason, we respectfully call upon our former players, as well as their lawyers, agents, and representatives, to take into consideration the circumstances Adana Demirspor is facing today and to adopt a constructive and solution-oriented approach.

Ensuring Adana Demirspor’s financial sustainability and allowing the club to regain stability is the most realistic path toward enabling the outstanding debts from previous periods to be repaid in the future.
