I believe some of these have never been posted online, or only exist behind extremely expensive licenses.
So here they are, for free. Open the thread for more.

"In 'La Strada' (1954), which is my favourite film, Fellini is God. The film was more powerful than a work of neo-realism. With 'La Strada', Fellini composed a lyric poem, the great epic of man’s pain and joy."

Jim Jarmusch's double bill recommendation:
"Ousmane Sembène's 'Black Girl' (1966) is a film I love very much. It’s not exactly feel-good movie of the year. It’s a beautifully made film, one of the greatest.
Stefania Sandrelli is fantastic in 'I Knew Her Well' (1965) by Antonio Pietrangeli. I think she was only nineteen when she made this film. I just love her and I love this film. I always thought this film and 'Black Girl' (1966) would be a good double bill."

P.S: On this day, 60 years ago 'Black Girl' (1966) was released in Senegal.
