I believe GameStop had its eyes on eBay for a while.
Remember "Trade Anything Day" in December 2025, when customers could bring anything to trade in? Most people thought it was strange and just wrote it off as a marketing stunt.

@RXed_EU@DavidDTawil@denizsert@RXed_EU I was really excited to hear what you’re working on with construction specifications and AI! Excited to learn more about it and work on a similar AI project myself 👍
@WillChiarucci@jollyairplane About the same as you, but since you asked… First impressions. Guy is a pipefitter, not an engineer. “Needs more steel”, ok buddy. Know your role. Wrong. Different building: •Megan Salazar’s post is accurate: the interview screenshot and quote from Eugene Flotteron discuss structural solutions for the 25 Water Street office-to-residential conversion (SoMA project) in the Financial District, completed with a 10-story overbuild using truss bracing.
•The ongoing Midtown Manhattan evacuation concerns a different building at 235 East 42nd Street (former Pfizer HQ), where columns buckled on floors 21-22 and floors sagged during its own apartment conversion on July 7, 2026.
•The two projects are unrelated; 25 Water Street faced no such reported buckling issues, while engineers are stabilizing the 42nd Street site to prevent potential collapse.
