So what could save #Arne!? 4 things in my view. 1. Salah & Afcon 2. Return of injured players 3. Hughes & Edwards 4. Availability of suitable replacement 1. Once salah leaves for AFCON, the elephant in the room that Arne can’t/won’t address, is addressed for him.

We have midfielders playing in defence (inexcusable). Outr most dynamic midfielder is at right back (stupid decision) and our most creative midfielder is sidelined and pilloried. One of our form strikers is ignored and results (+ performances) keep slipping.

Forget title defence for now. We have to get the defensive side of our game fixed. That’s 14 goals conceded in 9 games. No point Slot blaming long balls or defensively deep teams. He’s getting outsmarted and his teams outplayed - he needs to own it and fix it. @LFC

There seems to be a lot of commentary about a crisis at #Liverpool. In my view, the only crisis at #LFC is a crisis of authority. Arne’s authority. You can tinker with teams all day long but does he have the authority (and boldness) to drop players who are not performing?

All fur coat at the minute. We have not got started at all. We’re playing like we’re trying not to lose rather than trying to win. I’d swap Macca for Szob and bring on Bradley at RB. Szob is far more dynamic and at the minute we don’t have enough of that in the offensive areas.

@coach_kevin_m Totally agree but that’s not always the case. Whether it’s the internal voice, peer and/or parenting pressure, coaching styles, the will to be good etc etc - young players need help to mentally (as well as emotionally) appreciate football.
