🇪🇸 In Ceuta, newly arrived migrants are forcing their way into residential houses, trying to squat in other people’s homes and become “okupas,” after which it will be almost impossible to deport them.
Breaking: While Trump was telling the public the Iran war was winding down, his account was buying Lockheed Martin $LMT
On March 23rd, Trump announced peace talks were going "very well" which caused defense stocks to sell off $8B that same day
While everyone else was selling, his account bought $LMT that same morning
The war went on to burn through more than half of America's THAAD missile stockpile, which Lockheed builds
Fast forward to July 8th: Trump called Iran's leaders "scum" and said the agreement was "over"
The Pentagon has since paid Lockheed $35B to restock the missiles the war burned through
🚨BREAKING: Microsoft just canceled its Claude Code licenses.
Not because the tool didn't work.
Not because developers didn't love it.
Because the bill was too high to justify.
Let that sink in.
The same company that invested $13 billion into OpenAI.
The same company that owns the cloud powering most of AI today.
Looked at the bill and said no.
If Microsoft can't afford it, what does that mean for you?
Here is what is happening right now:
→ Uber burned its entire 2026 AI budget in just 4 months
→ AI software prices jumped 20% to 37% overnight
→ GitHub killed flat-rate plans; usage-based billing is now the standard
→ Anthropic, OpenAI & Google all raised prices in the last 6 months
→ Enterprise budgets built on cheap AI are collapsing in real time
This is not a small correction.
This is the end of the AI subsidy era.
For 3 years, labs burned billions to keep prices low.
They needed your adoption. They needed your data.
They needed your case studies.
You were not the customer. You were the experiment.
Now the experiment is over.
Two roads ahead both lead to the same cliff:
Road 1:
→ Enterprises cut AI usage to fit budgets
→ Revenue slows
→ Valuations collapse before IPO
Road 2:
→ Labs cut prices to keep customers
→ Unit economics break
→ Someone takes the write-down
There is no third option.
The numbers stop working.
Somebody pays.
The AI boom was real. The pricing was not.
Companies that built their 2026 strategy around falling AI costs?
They are already behind.

The yield on the 30-year Treasury is now 5.1%, the highest since 2007. The 10-year Treasury yield is 4.55%, the highest since the Liberation Day selloff. This may set off a major bond market collapse that will send yields soaring unless the Fed sends inflation soaring instead.
PUTIN “SAW THE LIGHT” after the parade!
According to sources close to the Russian president’s administration, after the parade Putin held a closed-door meeting and, for the first time in a long while, openly admitted that the war must be ended. He reportedly said the following almost word for word:
“We cannot continue. This is leading us to catastrophe.”
The Kremlin has allegedly begun urgent preparations for ending the war.
• The General Staff has reportedly been instructed to start developing a mechanism for withdrawing troops from Ukraine.
• Diplomatic channels (through Turkey, China, and intermediaries) have already been activated to launch a negotiation process.
• Witnesses claim Putin looked pale, nervous, and for the first time in many months appeared genuinely broken.
The most important takeaway from the Fed decision:
For months, the Fed has characterized inflation as "somewhat elevated" in their policy statements.
Today, that changed.
Amid surging energy prices, the Fed now says inflation "is elevated."
The Fed says inflation is back.
Trump just announced a total U.S. naval blockade of the Hormuz Strait.
Iran will no longer be allowed to make money by selling its oil while blocking other countries’ oil tankers.
BREAKING: Iran is struggling to fully reopen the Strait of Hormuz because it cannot locate all the sea mines it deployed and lacks the capability to remove them, per NYT.
🔴 Russia shared satellite images of a US base in Saudi Arabia with Iran days before it was struck, according to Ukrainian intelligence

BREAKING:
It’s now confirmed that yesterday’s arson attack on a drone manufacturing plant in Pardubice, Czechia had nothing to do with the Israeli defense tech company Elbit Systems as initially claimed.
The drones were being produced for Ukraine.
Several attacks have been carried out by “anti-Israel activists” against European defense companies which provide weapons to Ukraine.
It seems that Russian security services are using a combination of agents and anti-Israeli useful idiots in Europe to attack companies selling or donating weapons to Ukraine.

A MUST-read interview with an Accenture employee explaining the current usage patterns of $MSFT Copilot, Claude, and other AI models in enterprise usage:
1. They mostly work with large and large mid-market companies. According to him, as far as it comes to $MSFT Copilot, everybody has a license wherever they have Microsoft. 80% of his clients start with $MSFT because of the plumbing, security, and data access, as the integration is very seamless, as they already use $MSFT. But now he estimates that AROUND 50% of the clients are actively experimenting with second vendors. This is where Anthropic is coming into the picture, mostly because of reasoning, the long context window, and other things.
2. He explained that while 80% of their clients have adopted these solutions, that doesn't mean the market is saturating, as there is the question of usage.
3. In his view, we are not entering the phase where people are looking for these providers to automate the workflow.
4. The main issues of $MSFT Copilot in terms of performance vs Claude are, in his view, the hallucinations and worse reasoning. Claude's context window also matters a lot.
5. They are also seeing ChatGPT Enterprise and $GOOGL Gemini coming into discussions, especially when talking about agentic workflows. Gemini is strong where people use $GOOGL Workspace or are on GCP. When he compared the performance, he thinks $GOOGL Gemini is better than Copilot, but doesn't think it's better than Anthropic. $GOOGL with Gemini is also very aggressive with discounting.
6. According to him, $GOOGL Gemini is closing many deals with agentic AI workloads when Copilot renewals are coming, and customers are seeing the challenges they have faced.
7. In terms of switching costs between providers, the expert explains that when we were in the chatbot era, the switching costs were small, as you could switch between chatbots in a week. But now, as we enter the agentic workflow era, the switching costs are higher and last 1-2 quarters.
8. He also thinks that as more and more agents are built, the stickiness of a vendor becomes higher, and the switching costs might start to resemble more of the traditional software, where it takes a year or more to switch in some cases. He thinks stickiness will continue to grow, especially with things like multimodal usage.
9. In his view, $MSFT is working behind the scenes with many ecosystem providers to make sure that their system will be more sticky as a lot of clients would rather stick with $MSFT-provided models rather than going independently to Anthropic, OpenAI, or $GOOGL.

The letter that Donald Trump sent to Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre of Norway is insane!
This is why you don't elect a narcissist to be your president.
Is this what you voted for, Trump's supporters?
