Excited to be going to https://t.co/ZhKoL5DY5f this year! Taking the train there tomorrow - looking forward to chatting about OER, hardware licensing, and much more. :) #ccsummit#CCSummit18
@espectalll Thanks very much for the heads-up! The certs should all be fixed now - please let me know if they still seem expired for some reason. By the way, did you notice this problem on https://t.co/oW8oEXHTxx at all? Or just the other domains you mentioned?
Happy #PublicDomainDay! Written works by these authors are now #publicdomain in #Canada: Alice B. Toklas, Langston Hughes, Dorothy Parker, Varian Fry. Also, musical & artistic works by Otis Redding, René Magritte, John Coltrane, Woody Guthrie: https://t.co/VOYtrKJ0yA Remix away!
@SPC_Bitcoin Yes, Tigase Messenger (from the @tigase folks) is our recommended #XMPP client for iOS (best when used with a tigase.im JID); it's the #freesoftware iOS client we've found to be most compatible with https://t.co/oW8oEXHTxx . Happy to answer any questions you might have about it!
@ThoughtGuns @motherboard@KimDotcom Great! If you're interested in running a WOM gateway once they're ready to deploy, feel free to signup for the WOM Operatives list at https://t.co/QLbN3vW4eK - hope to see you there! For the curious, there's lots more WOM info in my @RadNetworks talk: https://t.co/ik8T2Cz40q
@itsmedoyousee@motherboard@KimDotcom WOM gateway operators are free to tunnel all the WOM traffic through Tor if they like, which would avoid this issue. Also, we are considering having all WOM traffic go over #cjdns, which similarly solves the problem. Happy to discuss more if you're still concerned!
@pumpkin_link@motherboard Yes, you can definitely use Android's built-in SIP client if it works for you. We've found that often it has echo issues, though, so we highly recommend CSipSimple for Android instead (it's in the F-Droid archive repo and in the Play Store). Hope that helps!
@matshg@JMP_chat Our hardware is currently based on https://t.co/PN3tMfAi7G - if you just want to try it out and/or have ideas for improving it, we'd be very happy to hear those! Eventually we'll want to work with a hardware designer to make a nicer version, in case you do that or know anyone.
If you're curious what I've been up to most of this past year, here's a summary: https://t.co/SNQVTbQIq5 Mainly I've been building https://t.co/oW8oEXHTxx (AGPLv3+ phone/SMS/MMS gateway, no cell network/baseband needed) and also https://t.co/P74ZIxZABm . Follow us @JMP_chat#XMPP
@Firefly1776 Great! Join our WOM Operatives list at https://t.co/QLbN3wdF6i so we know you're interested and we'll get in touch when we're ready for you.
@Firefly1776@motherboard@Firechatapp Thanks for the suggestion; I think until FireChat releases some source code or protocol documentation, we won't be able to coordinate much - we're happy to join them when they do, though!
@meetup_support This morning's email still has #tracking links; @meetup has been unusable for over a month now. When will it be fixed so I can use it again?
@meetup_support Thanks! I'm very much looking forward to seeing this problem resolved. I've always appreciated Meetup's commitment to no ads or #tracking.
@CaptainKurtis Main problem with #Android (ie. at 06:50 in https://t.co/yRp3UZntgl ): code not written by community. SDK in #Debian nice, but doesn't fix.
