Rules assume a closed world, every input on a list you wrote. AI models are for the open world, where the list can't be finished.
If you can't name the input you couldn't enumerate, you don't have an opening. You have rule wearing a model.

Your engineers are breaking your AI feature on purpose. They are right to do it. Your product leader is furious. They are also right. The conflict is structural, not personal, and the structure is older than AI.
Full breakdown in the comments.
Exit code zero is not a business outcome.
Neither is HTTP 200. Neither is message acknowledged. Neither is transaction committed.
Each means a specific layer is satisfied. None means the work happened.

Most architectures that claim to have no copies are the most fragile ones. Every queue message and every API response sitting in memory is a copy. The CAP theorem has been known for 25 years. Treating data duplication as an anti-pattern doesn't make the tradeoff disappear. 1/2
n8n is adding enterprise features. Frends is adding AI. They are not becoming the same platform.
Same-sounding features, different foundations underneath.

Spent a while writing about what two European automation/integration platforms can differ on. I thought I knew the category. Turns out I'd been asking the wrong questions. 🧵

Orchestration means different things on n8n and Frends.
AI orchestration in real time and business process orchestration across days.

Add the AND/OR trap on top of that, where assigning two tags shows less than assigning one, and you get a system that is doing exactly what you asked. You just asked for the wrong thing.

Most access control systems show you the locked door. Frends hides the door entirely.
Good security principle: a user who doesn't know Production exists can't target it. Bad debugging experience: a misconfigured tag produces no error, just an increasingly empty platform. 1/2
