My smile was big but my heart was a little broken at our Zoom “puppet show and tell” this week... wearing my #compasstribe shirt and my bravest smile here #wearecompass#secondgraderocks
Fun to connect with these 2nd grade cuties yesterday. We got to see lots of dogs, a large stuffed avocado, and hear about my puppet show fail for my baby nephew. Lots of silliness and giggles. We definitely had some technical problems but overall wonderful to “see” each other!
Best of luck to THS Robotics team- day 2 of their competition! They are learning much more than engineering design. They need to strategize with their own team, negotiate with alliances, work creatively under stress, and fix malfunction within seconds. #ths#Robotics#go3773
It wasn’t easy and took lots of patience and following directions, however demonstrating their maps knowledge through block coding with the new Sphero Minis was a hit, and a great way to chase away the after-Halloween blues! @AnnSmart17 #wearecompass@SpheroEdu
So thankful for partnerships with the LISD for fun technology lessons our young learners. These 2nd graders can’t wait for their next coding experience with Ozobots! @Ozobot#LISDLITT @AnnSmart17

I encourage multiple strategies and don’t ban this one ...learners each process number sense in such different ways. Whether you agree or disagree I find this to be an interesting article https://t.co/XK3TIJlDah
