Managed to keep the infection out of my bones 😩All feels v hopeless atm. Facing 2 more joint replacements in 2022 which are now ‘high risk’ & the thought of another hospital stay, even a short, planned one fills me with horror. Just not in a good place atm x

#NEISvoid haven’t been on here much recently. Still dealing with post hip replacement infection from Sept. Recovery is long and arduous. Remain on iv & oral abx therapy- side effects all consuming. Nausea,headaches dizziness resulting in feinting

Being admitted to hospital again, for a ‘significant time’. In uk still no visitors allowed. SHO has (after a 5 min consultation where I said I had anxiety & depression) judged me as ‘not needing visitors, she’ll be fine’ already more anxious than I was …

@DollHouseKiera Grrrrr makes me want to spit! In the uk they still make you remove nail varnish before surgery. With all the monitoring available are they really going to wait & rely for my nails to go blue before they realise I’m hypoxic ? #nonsense #provessovetpeople
