The College of Agricultural Sciences named Dr. Jeff Reimer as the interim department head for Applied Economics, effective 9/1.
Jeff is replacing Dr. Jen Alix-Garcia who recently announced her decision to step down as department head in order to focus on other priorities at OSU.
AEC PhD Candidate Yuhan Wang will present "Recent Climate Change has Lowered the Economic Value of Natural Resources: Evidence from Drought Stress, Fires, and Western U.S. Timberland" on Wednesday, October 12 at noon in Ballard 219 and on Zoom.
"The effect of carbon fertilization on naturally regenerated and planted US forests," from OSU Applied Econ Professor Dave Lewis (and others) was recently published in the journal Nature Communications.
