@laki_power @Starlink @Starlink has anyone put a Starlink Mini on a high-voltage powerline before? 🌟🌟🌟

[Laki Power @laki_power]

🚀 Big News! You can now power @Starlink directly on power lines!

We’ve just deployed our first @Starlink enabled monitoring station —powered directly by the high-voltage conductor. Now, stakeholders can access real-time video feed and data from anywhere on the grid. 🌍⚡

@ID_AA_Carmack Thats exactly what we do at @laki_power - we energize cameras and a host of sensors directly from high-voltage lines 👍🌟🏆

Our monitoring stations are still going strong after enduring a bomb cyclone in Iceland earlier this week. Our LKX-201 stations measured wind gusts up to 65 m/s (145 mph) during this extreme weather event! 🌩️

We are happy to announce that we have signed a pilot project agreement with @eltemtek a subsidiary of Turkey's power grid operator TEIAS.🤝

The pilot will focus on providing monitoring equipment for icing detection on high-voltage power lines.❄️

We’re pleased to announce the launch of a new pilot program with Manitoba Hydro in Canada! 🤝

The pilot project is part of Manitoba Hydro’s effort to effectively monitor and respond to icing and weather on transmission lines.
