BREAKING: NBA legend Charles Barkley bravely risks his job at CBS Sports by condemning Trump's brutal treatment of immigrants as a "travesty and disgrace" on air.

The MAGA corporate overlords are seething right now...

"I want to be very careful with my words right now. Okay. Because this is a really touchy subject for me. I love that kid and his family," Barkley began, referring college basketball star, Alex Karaban, who is the child of immigrants.

"But the way some of these other immigrants are getting treated in our country right now is a travesty and a disgrace. I think there's a difference between amazing immigrants and criminal immigrants," he said.

As has been well-documented in countless news publications, Trump's promise to focus solely on violent criminals was a lie. Instead, his masked ICE thugs have gone after innocent families and hard-working members of our communities in order to inflate their deportation numbers and appease his white nationalist base.

"And I think what's going on in our country, what we're doing to some of these amazing immigrants is really unfortunate and it's really sad," Barkley continued. "And that's a great immigrant story. We have a lot of great immigrant stories out there. These stories need to be told."

"But some of the stuff that's happening to immigrants in our country right now is really unfortunate and it's really unfair," he continued, "But immigrants built this country and we should admire them and respect them."

Barkley made his courageous remarks while sharing the stage with hardcore Trump supporter Bruce Pearl, a former Auburn coach. Pearl is so pro-MAGA that he has even voiced support for Trump's illegal, child-murdering Iran War. Barkley knew who was in the studio with him and still he chose to speak out.

On top of that, CBS Sports is owned by Paramount Skydance which is run by MAGA fanatic David Ellison, the same David Ellison who installed Bari Weiss at CBS News to tilt its coverage in a more pro-Trump, pro-Israel direction. By speaking out like this in honest, compassionate terms, Barkley was putting his job on the line. He should be commended for his bravery!

Scientists found COVID-19 in the brain months after infection.

A landmark NIH-led study examined autopsy tissues from 44 people who died of COVID-19 during the pandemic’s first year—all unvaccinated and with severe disease. The results were striking: SARS-CoV-2 was found throughout the body, including the brain, sometimes months after initial infection.

In one remarkable case, researchers successfully cultured fully infectious, replicating virus from brain tissue—proof that the pathogen wasn’t merely leaving behind inert fragments but remained biologically active.

Using freshly collected samples, the team tested ten distinct brain regions. Most contained detectable viral RNA and proteins, yet the surrounding brain tissue showed minimal inflammation or obvious damage. This paradox raises a crucial question: if the virus is present but not visibly destroying cells, how might it contribute to neurological problems?

These findings could shed light on the persistent brain fog, headaches, memory issues, and rarer severe complications seen in some Long COVID patients—even when classic lung symptoms have resolved.

Not every patient in the study had reported neurological symptoms while alive, and the exact mechanisms remain elusive. What is now indisputable, however, is that SARS-CoV-2 is not strictly a respiratory virus. It can spread systemically, evade immune clearance, and quietly persist in multiple organs—including sanctuary sites like the brain—for far longer than previously assumed.

BREAKING: Congresswoman Sydney Kamlager-Dove shreds Trump's misogyny in a fiery speech on the House floor after he grunts "quiet piggy" at a female reporter and tried to coerce female members of Congress into burying the Epstein files.

We've been dying for a takedown like this...

"The man in the most powerful position in the world has used the full weight of the government to block and obfuscate and deflect the full release of the files," Kamlager-Dove said. "It is the same person who intimidated female members of Congress to withdraw names from the petition, who responded 'quiet piggy' to a female reporter who asked about the files, and who nominated an alleged sexual predator to be our AG."

Trump's "quiet piggy" moment occurred on Air Force One when a reporter dared to ask him about the Epstein files. In a sane political environment such a disgusting remark would dominate the news cycle for months, with Trump it's just par for the course. Everyone knows that he's a vile, crude ogre unbefitting the presidency. Republicans have just decided not to care.

The alleged sexual predator that Kamlager-Dove was referring to was former Congressman Matt Gaetz, who has been accused of sex trafficking minors and who was for a brief period Trump's pick to lead the Justice Department.

"It is the same person whose name appears more than any other in the Epstein emails," Kamlager-Dove continued. "And in the pantheon of violence, a sexual predator is the worst of the worst, so why protect him? It's also curious that the judiciary is managing this debate and has not even had this come before the committee. I wonder why. Release the files now!"

The "why" here is easy to parse. Trump has been trying to block the Epstein files because he's heavily implicated in them. He's an avowed sexual predator, an adjudicated rapist, and quite possibly a pedophile.

BREAKING: Michelle Obama torches Donald Trump for corruptly accepting gifts and lowering the "standard" of behavior for the presidency — all without mentioning him by name.

This was a masterclass in throwing shade...

“When you are the commander in chief, there’s a standard at which you have to set for the American people. And some of these things aren’t even laws — they’re just norms,” Obama said at the Sixth & I synagogue and arts center in D.C.

“They’re just things that you do because you don’t want the people to feel like wealthy people have a different level of access and access to power,” she continued. "So that means you got to say ‘no’ a lot."

"Our motto was: If it looks like fun, we can’t do it," Mrs. Obama added.

Although she didn't mention the name of the disgrace currently occupying the Oval Office, it was clear who she was referring to. Donald Trump not only accepted a $400 million jet from Qatar, but he is now taking massive donations from corporations to pay for his $300 million vanity project ballroom. And those are just the big ticket items that we know about. Who knows what kind of gifts he's accepting behind closed doors.

Michelle Obama illustrated her point by recounting the story of a gift from Oprah Winfrey that she and her husband had to turn down—

“[Winfrey] sends a box of then-Ralph Lauren’s first-edition clothing line. It was like three suits, seven sweaters. I mean, it was an Oprah-sized gift,” she said, adding that Barack told her: "You can't keep that."

“He’s like, ‘I’m in office. We don’t accept gifts.'” Mr.s Obama said, adding with a smile: “Imagine that?”

During her conversation with New York Times critic-at-large Wesley Morris, Mrs. Obama also discussed Trump's deeply unpopular demotion of the East Wing to make way for his ballroom.

“Our view was this is not our house. We are here to do a job. We’re here for a turn. We’re here for a moment. We are caretakers of this history, and it’s about bringing more people in,” she said.

“I was always the kid growing up in the South Side of Chicago that didn’t feel welcome in some of these fancy places," he continued. "You go to the big store downtown and all of a sudden somebody’s following you. Or you go into the museum, and people think that you don’t belong."

“When Barack and I were there, we were thinking about those kids like us who were outside of the gates of the South Lawn looking in,” she went on.

“Every president has the right to do what they want in that house, so that’s why we got to be clear on who we let in,” she added.

Clearly, America made a grave mistake by letting Donald Trump in. Eventually he'll be gone and Democrats can set about the long hard process of putting this country back together.

I want an honest answer:

How many of you who have Netflix at home have ensured that your domestic workers also have access to it in their domestic quarters and to Wi-Fi?

Why am I asking? It is important to recognise that your domestic workers and their children should not be left behind in having access to the modern necessities of life.

How can their children not have access to Wi-Fi and Netflix when it will not cost you an extra penny, except for an additional television set and Wi-Fi router?

Giving them access means we do not have a society divided into two classes: those who have access to the world and those who do not!

Remember that your grandparents or great grandparents once worked as domestic workers, those days good employers would send their kids to school. Imagine if they had not been send to school, where would you be?

Let us pull each other up regardless of our station in life!!!
