Ten weeks later, third and final practice placement is finished. A fantastically useful and enjoyable experience to take away, along with a new tropical houseplant addition from my lovely fire service colleagues ππ. Two semesters to go...
As an aside, if you're in the Newbury area and after a personal trainer, Vicki @LiveFitNowUK is fab - always good humoured and encouraging (even in the face of my complaining) and she has a cute gym dog too π₯ποΈββοΈπΆ
Good example tonight of when even occupations you might not be so keen to do can be beneficial. Having a bit of a meh brain day and dragged myself to a weight training session with Vicki @LiveFitNowUK and now I (begrudgingly π) feel much brighter!
Last few days of a truly fabulous placement with @RBFRSofficial π Met some lovely people, learned lots, and got to experience the big wide world of OT life outside of health and social care! Very grateful πππ @OTPlacementsCU@CovUniOT

Designing a training session today on mental capacity and risk enablement for colleagues at my placement, using knowledge from my day job. One of the things I love about being an apprentice is combining experience and uni-learned theory to bring OT values to new people πππ
