here's a 2-minute video showing the entire process of me buying $OTC over the counter using https://t.co/WgWKIVBsIv.
from creating an offer and approving the token delegation to executing the trade directly between two wallets.
the entire settlement happens in a single atomic transaction, meaning the buyer's SOL and seller's tokens are exchanged simultaneously.
either both transfers succeed, or neither happens.
no liquidity pools, no escrow, and no need to send your bags to a third party.
everything is verifiable onchain.
working on adding counteroffers to https://t.co/WgWKIVBsIv.
instead of having to accept or reject an offer, you'll be able to negotiate directly with the other wallet.
if someone offers $40,000 for your bag and you're looking for $45,000, you can send back a counteroffer with your preferred price and amount.
both sides can negotiate until they agree, then settle the entire trade atomically without touching a liquidity pool.
should be live shortly.
$OTC creator fees will be used to purchase $OTC tokens and list them at discounted prices on https://t.co/WgWKIVBsIv.
this will incentivize people to use the exchange, giving traders an opportunity to buy $OTC below market price through over-the-counter offers.
they'll be used to help grow the OTC marketplace.
OTC trading shouldn't require handing over custody of your bags to someone you've never met.
that's why https://t.co/WgWKIVBsIv uses Solana's native token delegation system.
when you create an offer, you authorize a specific amount of tokens to be transferred, but they never leave your wallet while the offer is open.
once someone accepts, both sides of the trade settle atomically. the buyer receives the tokens and the seller receives the SOL, or neither transfer happens.
this means you can negotiate and trade entire memecoin positions directly between wallets, without depositing funds into escrow or routing trades through liquidity pools.
over-the-counter trading without the middleman holding your money.
Offer History is now live.
https://t.co/WFzXStqdw9
you can now view all your open, closed, and revoked offers in one place, with a complete record of your OTC activity.
each offer shows the token, amount, price, and status, making it easier to keep track of previous trades and manage your existing offers.
continuing to improve the platform based on your feedback.
adding a dedicated Offer History page to https://t.co/WgWKIVBsIv.
you'll be able to see every offer you've created, including open, closed, and revoked offers, all in one place.
each offer will have its own history, showing the token, amount, agreed price, and current status so you can easily keep track of your OTC activity.
also making it easier to review previous trades and manage your existing offers without having to search through individual tokens.
native token delegation takes the middleman out of over-the-counter trading.
I believe this is how OTC trading should work and I'm going to build this until it becomes the standard.
the entire point of blockchain is to make things possible without having to trust someone else with your money.
no one, including OTC, me, or anyone else, needs to take custody of your bags.
you simply delegate a specific amount of tokens while they remain in your own wallet. when someone accepts your offer, both sides exchange funds through a single atomic transaction.
either the buyer receives the tokens and the seller receives the SOL, or nothing moves.
I genuinely believe this can become the foundation for OTC trading across Solana, where anyone can negotiate large positions directly without crashing charts or trusting a third party to hold their funds.

if you run into any bugs while using OTC, please reply below so I can look into it.
I'm iterating on this publicly, taking feedback directly from the people using it.
my goal is to build the biggest OTC exchange on Solana.
we haven't had tech deserving of that title since 2024, and I genuinely believe this could be a huge benefit to the entire ecosystem.
large holders should be able to negotiate exits without crashing charts, and buyers should be able to accumulate massive positions without driving prices up.
https://t.co/WgWKIVBsIv
$OTC creator fees will be used to incentivize people to use the platform.
the plan is to use revenue generated by $OTC to fund discounted $OTC token allocations for users completing over-the-counter trades.

posting this again to explain how delegate transactions actually work for those who are confused:
Solana has a native token delegation system that allows you to authorize another wallet to transfer a specific amount of tokens without actually sending them anywhere.
when you list a bag on OTC, you approve a delegation for the amount you want to sell. your tokens remain in your own wallet until someone accepts the offer.
once a buyer agrees to your price, both sides are settled through a single atomic transaction.
the buyer receives your tokens, you receive their SOL, or the entire transaction fails.
NO ONE, including OTC, takes custody of your funds.
the trade never touches a liquidity pool, meaning a $100,000 bag can change hands without creating a massive red candle on the chart.
https://t.co/WgWKIVBsIv
anyone can post bids, list bags for sale, or make private offers directly to wallets holding a specific token.
of course a counterparty needs to exist. that's how OTC markets work, including in traditional finance.
a token delegation basically allows you to authorize another address to transfer a specific amount of tokens without actually sending them out of your wallet.
when someone accepts an offer, OTC constructs a single atomic transaction that transfers the tokens to the buyer and the SOL to the seller.
this means large positions can change hands at an agreed price without going through a liquidity pool, and neither party needs to deposit their funds into escrow.
https://t.co/WgWKIVBsIv
when someone dumps a massive memecoin bag into a liquidity pool, the chart crashes, the entire community gets affected, and the seller often receives a worse price than they expected.
OTC allows buyers and sellers to negotiate a fixed price and exchange entire positions directly between wallets, without moving the chart.
NO ONE, including OTC, takes custody of your funds.
this is possible through Solana's native token delegation system, which allows a wallet to authorize the transfer of a specific amount of tokens without giving up ownership or depositing them into escrow.
your funds remain in your own wallet until an offer is accepted.
both sides settle atomically. either the buyer receives the tokens and the seller receives the SOL, or neither transfer happens.
non-custodial, wallet-to-wallet over-the-counter trading. as it should be.
think about what this means for large holders and anyone trying to accumulate or exit a position without sending the entire chart into a panic.

OTC Open Offers is now live.
https://t.co/T4csMBRAzb
see which memecoin bags people are buying or selling, the size of each position, and the exact price they're willing to trade at.
find an offer you like and take the other side directly, with both wallets settling through a single atomic transaction.
browse all active bids and asks in one place.

also making it easier to filter offers by token, size, and price so you can quickly find trades worth taking.
I think this is one of the biggest problems in the trenches that has finally been solved.
you don't have to trust me, or some random middleman to hold your bags while you negotiate a trade.
that's the beauty of Solana's native token delegation system.
you simply authorize a specific amount of tokens to be transferred, while your tokens remain in your own wallet.

I'm putting together a video for those who are skeptical about the tech actually working.
remember, OTC never takes custody of your funds or acts as the counterparty to your trades.
everything works through Solana's native token delegation system, which allows you to authorize a specific amount of tokens to be transferred without moving them out of your wallet.
when someone accepts your offer, OTC constructs and co-signs an atomic transaction that exchanges the buyer's SOL and seller's tokens directly between their wallets.
both sides of the trade execute together, or neither happens.
if you run into any bugs while using OTC, please reply below so I can look into it.

if you don't understand how a delegation transaction works, essentially Solana lets you give another address permission to transfer a specific amount of tokens from your wallet without actually sending the tokens anywhere.
for example, if you're selling $100,000 worth of a memecoin, you can delegate that exact amount while the entire position remains in your own wallet.
OTC uses this to let people list their bags without depositing anything into escrow.
when someone accepts your offer, we construct a single atomic transaction that sends the buyer's SOL to you and your tokens to the buyer.
both transfers happen together, or neither happens.
the delegate can only transfer up to the amount you've approved, and you can revoke any remaining allowance.
for buyers, the same process works by wrapping SOL into wSOL and delegating the amount offered.
this means two wallets can exchange massive positions at an agreed price without routing anything through a liquidity pool or moving the chart.
