I remember those days when we had this level of exposure to Christian massacres in Nigeria and then VP Osinbanjo (a pastor) was invited to the U.S. and asked to speak to it. He claimed erroneously that it was just farmer-herder crisis. He was lying but that was the official line then.

We later proved him wrong because the real victims ended up in the White House to tell their own stories. That led to Trump looking Buhari in the face and asking, “Why are you killing Christians in Nigeria?” Buhari admitted this much.

Today, the official line of defense is “it’s not only Christians.” No one says it’s only Christians. I have even given you casualty figures for both Christian and Muslim massacres from 2009 to date - 125,000/60,000 respectively. The question is, why has the situation only gotten worse?

It was late Sani Abacha who said that “"Any insurgency that lasts more than 24 hours, a government official has a hand in it"

Rather than address the situation head on, our government and their paid e-minions are more interested in face-saving and emotional solidarity. Tell the people what you’ll do, going forward, to stop the carnage! Nigeria has become a giant slaughter house. We can’t go on like this. Period!
