@NMC_BHARAT@MoHFW_INDIA Hon’b AP High Court clearly stated in its order date 17-12-2025 regarding fmg’s issue condeming the NMC actions with regarding its clarifications notices post students students graduation related to covid-19 pandemic and ukraine war and its retrospective implementation would only cause mental agony and confusion for students and shouldn’t left uncertain.
But even after 6years post pandemic, still NMC deliberately chooses to keep students carrier in complete uncertainty with new notices and clarifications towards Fmgs, where it chooses to remain silent and do the same towards Indian medical graduates.,where no graduate in india never compensated for their online studies during covid whether its clinical or theory nor undergone additional year but were granted registrations. such discrimination and inequality should never exist in national body of a country.
it’s clearly shows the objectives of NMC to deliberately discourage the students from going abroad by torturing FMGs and setting an example for the upcoming students. It’s condemnable that such Hon’b positions are used for running Business objectives., where india is already deprived state in health care.its been 2years still registrations weren’t issued , just wasted because of the system.
We hope Hon’b govt @PMOIndia@PMOIndia_RC@rashtrapatibhvn brings a change where hardwork is recognised and appreciated ,where there is still hope for youth that they can achieve their dreams in india with trust on the system, where dreams never ends because of the system. @narendramodi@RahulGandhi@JPNadda@ShashiTharoor@aimsa_fmsw@official_afa_
The sudden suspension of the Compulsory Rotatory Medical Internship (CRMI) programme for Foreign Medical Graduates (FMGs) at Shyamlal Chandrashekhar Medical College & Shaheed Prabhu Narayan Multi-Specialty Hospital is extremely concerning. Hundreds of young doctors who have already gone through years of struggle to complete their medical education are now facing uncertainty about their future.
Administrative and financial constraints cannot become a reason to halt internships and bar FMG interns from entering the campus. Such decisions directly affect the careers, training, and mental well-being of these graduates who are ready to serve the healthcare system.
We urge the authorities and the National Medical Commission and Ministry of Health and Family Welfare to intervene immediately, resolve the issue, and ensure that FMG interns are allowed to continue their CRMI without further delay.
The future of young doctors must be protected.

The new @NMC_IND rule affecting thousands of #FMGE students raises serious concerns
Article 14 – Equality before law
• Legitimate Expectation Doctrine
• Force Majeure (#COVID situation)
Students studied online during a global pandemic, not by choice
@official_afa_@JPNadda
Shocked to see the latest NMC notice regarding FMGE’s
During COVID, thousands of Indian students studying abroad were forced into online classes by a global pandemic.
Now, years later, the NMC wakes up and demands “onsite compensation” as if students controlled the pandemic.
This is not regulation.
This is bureaucratic cruelty.
Students followed the rules that existed when they enrolled. Universities shifted online because the world shut down. And today the system wants to punish students for a crisis they did not create.
If NMC truly cared about standards, it should have issued clear policy during the pandemic, not after students have already invested years, money, and their future.
Stop treating FMGs like second-class doctors.
Policy cannot be written retrospectively on the backs of students.
Fix the system — don’t scapegoat the students.

Foreign Medical Graduates have already completed years of study, FMGE, and internship.
Additional offline compensation for past online classes will only delay careers and extend training.
Requesting the National Medical Commission to withdraw this notice.
#JusticeForFMGs#FMG
Thousands of FMGs followed every rule — MBBS abroad, FMGE cleared, internship completed.
Now forcing additional offline compensation for past online classes is unfair.
We request the National Medical Commission to kindly withdraw this notice.

Chandrababu Garu, isn’t this an utterly disgraceful government? How can you justify unleashing the police on students who have completed their medical education abroad? Despite clearing the Foreign Medical Graduate (FMG) Examination as per NMC (National Medical Commission) guidelines and completing their internships here itself, why is your government refusing to issue them Permanent Registration (PR) numbers? This is just a procedural formality. Why are you harassing them by deliberately withholding it? Is this how governance is supposed to function?
Is it your policy to attack those who question your mistakes with the police force? For the past year, you have been discriminating against these students, exploiting them in the name of internships and forcing them into prolonged unpaid labour to benefit private medical colleges. Isn’t it a fact that you are intentionally denying them PR numbers to serve the vested interests of private institutions?
Parents have sold properties and taken loans to educate their children abroad with the dream of seeing them become doctors. Those students worked hard, completed their courses and returned with hope. But your government is treating them like outcasts, pushing their careers into darkness. How fair is this injustice? Isn't it clear that your government’s aim is to demoralize these students?
When our government was in power, we worked hard to ensure that students would not need to go abroad. We initiated 17 government medical colleges with 2,550 new seats and five of them were already operational. The remaining were progressing rapidly. But after coming to power, your government stalled all of them. Is there any other instance in the country’s history where a government rejected seats allocated by the central government? Yours is the only one.
For the sake of your corruption, you are plotting to privatize those colleges. You even wrote back to the NMC refusing the seats sanctioned for Pulivendula Medical College, destroying the future of countless students.
Now the very students who opted for foreign education to reduce costs and completed their degrees with immense struggle are being harassed by denying them PR numbers. Worse, when they question this injustice, you send them to police stations. What kind of deep-seated grudge do you hold against these students and their families, Chandrababu?
I demand that your government immediately issue relieving orders to all students who have completed their internships and grant Permanent Registration numbers to all candidates who have cleared the FMG exam strictly in accordance with NMC guidelines.
Yes it's a major concerning issue leading to lot of challenges that has to be faced by FMGs eventually.,and @NMC_BHARAT portraying straight discrimination towards FMGS compared to IMGS with same online discrepancies during COVID, why only FMGs always face such discrimination?
The NMC (@NMC_BHARAT) should issue a final notice based on all previous notices regarding FMGs. Over the years, multiple notices have been issued for FMGs, leading to confusion among various state councils and implicating different rules in different states.
The document should encompass details regarding the internship, stipend, FMGL regulations, and eligibility criteria.
These regulations may be referred as THE FINAL NOTICE for FMGs, based on all prior notifications.
If @NMC_BHARAT needs help with this, I can summarize all of this in just 5-6 hours, which will save time and effort for FMGs students and state councils, ultimately leading to a better future for FMGs & health care.
