@HAUMPH Might be a good idea to download a dedicated audio driver, if you don't have one already. I think ShurePlus MOTIV will have that included, if you don't have that already. ASIO4ALL is a generic and free option.

-Try another USB cable and all available USB ports
-Unplug any USB devices you're not using, especially if they're high-traffic like webcams
-If possible, try the mic on a different computer
