A guy watched every Marvel movie on Disney+ over 3 years. All 26. Some of them twice. He thought he'd seen everything.

Then his friend a home theater installer came over, grabbed the remote, and typed 4 letters into the Disney+ search bar.

I-M-A-X.

The screen changed. The same movie he'd watched last week looked completely different. The black bars at the top and bottom of the screen shrank. The image expanded. 26% more picture. More sky. More action. More of every frame. The version he'd been watching for 3 years was cropped. The full image had been sitting on Disney+ the entire time.

He stared at the screen and said: "Why didn't it show me this version?"

His friend said: "Because you never asked. And Disney+ will never offer."

Then his friend started opening tabs, changing settings, and showing him things that had been hiding on the platform since the day he subscribed.
