When she arrived, she was still fitting. A caretaker looked at me and confidently said “Doctor, it’s witchcraft.” 😂 We quickly recognized eclampsia, stabilized her, gave magnesium sulfate, controlled her blood pressure and proceeded with delivery. both mother and baby survived.

Before reaching the hospital, the family had taken her to a witch doctor, then to church, believing it was witchcraft.
Thankfully, the pastor made the right call.
