DPR IAN Is Ready to Take the Stage at Fan Fest and Win Over Monterrey’s Heart

The artist shared his personal connection to soccer since the 2002 World Cup, highlighted how it has helped him connect with audiences, and gave a preview of his new music.

Fan Festival activities are still underway, and this time it is DPR IAN’s turn, as he expressed that he is ready to meet the Monterrey audience at an event that, he revealed, fulfills one of the most meaningful aspirations of his professional career.

The South Korean artist, who works as a producer, songwriter, and vocalist, stated that soccer has been part of his everyday life since childhood, which is why being involved in a celebration connected to the FIFA World Cup is especially significant to him.

“Growing up, I loved watching soccer. I still remember the Red Devils and Korea in 2002. That was the first time I experienced the pride and joy of nations coming together through football and even football video games. Of course, I grew up playing the game after that. It was a huge part of my life. Being able to celebrate this event with fans from all over the world in Mexico, in Monterrey, is truly a dream,” he said.

The singer behind Don’t Go Insane also admitted that he never imagined his music would allow him to travel to Mexico, let alone perform in front of thousands of attendees in Monterrey.

“I never, ever expected to be performing here in Monterrey, Mexico. I hope Mexican fans are incredibly passionate. I can’t wait to perform and show them what we have to offer. It’s truly something I’ve always wanted to do,” he said.

Alongside his work in music, DPR IAN has built a close bond with his fans due to the openness with which he speaks about topics such as mental health, self-discovery, and human duality—elements that define a significant portion of his artistic work.

“My art comes from something very personal. I’ll never have all the answers about mental health, but what I can offer is some form of comfort, a safe space, and the opportunity for people to feel seen and understood. I just want people to know that if I can do it, they can too. Always look toward the light,” he shared.

The founder of the independent label Dream Perfect Regime (DPR) stated that creating the collective marked the true beginning of his artistic passion, as well as the opportunity to build a creative environment alongside his collaborators.

The artist also revealed that he is currently working on new music that will feature strong influences from rock and metal, genres he listened to throughout his teenage years.

“Now I have to show you what this show is all about. This is only the beginning. You’re going to get a lot of that rock essence because I grew up listening to metal and rock. There’s much more of that coming,” he revealed.

To conclude, DPR IAN stated that Mexico has earned a very special place in his heart, assuring that the country will remain an essential stop on his future international tours.

“Would I like Mexico to be a regular stop on my tours? Without a doubt. It is and it will be. You have been the light when I needed it in the darkness. I love your food, and chamoy is definitely something I’ll never forget. Your passion and the love you show me will never go unnoticed,” the singer concluded.

DPR IAN promises an energetic performance, filled with emotion and a deep connection with the Monterrey audience.
