जब तक जैन समाज वर्तमान सरकार की अंधभक्ति में डूबा रहेगा और अपने ही आंतरिक मुद्दों में उलझा रहेगा, तब तक ऐसी परिस्थितियाँ पैदा होती रहेंगी।
जब तक पाखंडवाद और ब्राह्मणवादी सोच जैसी विचारधाराओं पर सवाल नहीं उठाए जाएंगे, तब तक जैन समाज की स्वतंत्र धार्मिक पहचान और अस्तित्व पर खतरा बना रहेगा। जैन धर्म को कथित हिंदू समाज का हिस्सा बनाने के किसी भी प्रयास का एकजुट होकर, शांतिपूर्ण और लोकतांत्रिक तरीके से कड़ा विरोध करना होगा।
अब समय आ गया है कि जैन समाज गंभीरता से सोचे—क्या हम अपनी धार्मिक पहचान, संस्कृति और विरासत की रक्षा कर रहे हैं, या सिर्फ राजनीतिक अंधभक्ति में अपनी आवाज़ खो रहे हैं?

જ્યાં સુધી જૈન સમાજ વર્તમાન સરકારની અંધભક્તિમાં ડૂબેલો રહેશે અને પોતાના આંતરિક પ્રશ્નોમાં જ વ્યસ્ત રહેશે, ત્યાં સુધી આજ જેવી પરિસ્થિતિ ઊભી થતી રહેશે.
જ્યાં સુધી પાખંડવાદ અને બ્રાહ્મણવાદ જેવી વિચારધારાઓને પડકારવામાં નહીં આવે, ત્યાં સુધી જૈન સમાજની અલગ ઓળખ અને અસ્તિત્વ સામેના પડકારો યથાવત્ રહેશે. જૈન ધર્મને કથિત હિંદુ સમાજનો એક ભાગ બનાવવાના પ્રયાસો થઈ રહ્યા હોય, તો તેનો સૌએ એકજૂથ થઈને શાંતિપૂર્ણ અને લોકતાંત્રિક રીતે મજબૂત વિરોધ કરવો જરૂરી છે.
આજે જૈન સમાજે ગંભીરતાથી વિચારવાનો સમય છે કે શું આપણે પોતાની ધાર્મિક ઓળખ અને વારસાનું રક્ષણ કરી રહ્યા છીએ કે નહીં.

Elevating a Corrupt, dishonest, arrogant politician who lost the last federal election, was rejected by voters, & left his own party politically diminished is not renewal—it is rewarding failure. Public office should be reserved for those who earn the public's trust through competence & accountability, not for recycled politicians whose record has already been judged by the electorate.

સમાજમાં અશ્લીલતા છે, અને આ તો તેનું જ્વલંત ઉદાહરણ છે. પરંતુ સવાલ એ છે કે અશ્લીલતા સામે અવાજ કોણ ઉઠાવે છે?

ફિલ્મોમાં, વેબ સિરીઝમાં અને મનોરંજનના નામે વર્ષોથી અશ્લીલતા પીરસવામાં આવે છે ત્યારે સમાજના સ્વઘોષિત ઠેકેદારો ચૂપ રહે છે. ત્યાં તેમને અભિવ્યક્તિની સ્વતંત્રતા યાદ આવે છે. પરંતુ એ જ સમાજનો એક ભાગ એવી જ ભાષા કે વર્તન કરે, તો અચાનક સંસ્કૃતિ જોખમમાં આવી જાય છે.

દ્વિધોરણો બંધ કરો. નિયમ હોય તો સૌ માટે સમાન હોવો જોઈએ. જો ફિલ્મો અને મનોરંજનમાં પીરસાતી અશ્લીલતા સ્વીકાર્ય છે, તો માત્ર Gen Gને નિશાન બનાવવું કપટ છે. અને જો અશ્લીલતા ખરેખર ખોટી છે, તો તેનો વિરોધ પણ દરેક જગ્યાએ સમાન રીતે થવો જોઈએ—પસંદગીપૂર્વક નહીં.

"Street prayers are fundamentally wrong & should be banned nationwide" as matters of fact.Religious freedom has limits. It cannot be used to violate the rights or peace of others in any circumstances. Public spaces belong to the public, not to any one group. Banning it is a rightful decision of Quebec Govt.
