Apple, you really need to fix the position of the “undo send” button. The amount of times I’ve hit that versus “edit.” The knowledge and sauce that’s been lost is equivalent to the burning of the library of Alexandria.
All in all, the rich don’t work harder—they work with leverage.
TLDR:
The wealthy don’t rely on effort alone.
They stack multiple forms of leverage to escape time-for-money traps and scale exponentially.
Had dinner with a friend last night who’s 26 y/o and makes $6M/y. It’s one of those relationships where I can ask him anything. Nothing’s off limits. He told me everything I’m doing wrong in my current biz & flat out said, if you want to make $6M/y; you need to get more leverage.
What’s crazy is my friend is opening 3 more businesses this fall and the teams he’s already built will transition to run them full time for him. 2/3 of these businesses are projected to make him $2M profit in their 1st year. Told him he was insane. Then he showed me the numbers.
Google is completely unusable now. Every time I search something I get SEO’d tf out. Even when you search YouTube — A PLATFORM GOOGLE OWNS — it’s not even in top 5 search results. What a joke.
I model this, but fear it comes off as weakness. I answer with “it depends” more than a confident yes or no. I’ve learned if you want to be a leader and gain trust you must give a yes or no.. ppl attach themselves to their leaders beliefs. The catch is to admit when you’re wrong.
The smartest people I know all have this in common: They change their minds often. It’s not a weakness, being wishy-washy, or a sign of flaky beliefs. It’s proof that their ego doesn’t outrank new information. The goal isn't to be right, it's to get it right.
Had a rough night last night working on my business. Was looking out my balcony in Miami thinking about Kobe’s 3:30am post. I will not stop until I find the silver lining.
Remember it’s all a volume game. Treat social media as a lottery ticket—every day you get to scratch off as many as you’d like. You may achieve vitality on the 2nd post or the 500th. Either way the algo’s guarantee it with volume.
