@jamierkennedy Check out Hiroki. Not well known but I have one of their leather carry bags and it is amazing. I usually carry 9 clubs but can accommodate more. They also have cheaper synethic fabrics.
@ukgolfguy I was at the 1980 Open Championship but it was pouring rain and I was just a young kid so all I remember is watching Andy North lose his temper, and meeting Jack Nicklaus in the merchandise tent (amazing!). Played there recently and would LOVE to go back.
#WellingtonOPP - While out on patrol, an officer located a group of individuals loading suspicious items into the back of a vehicle.
Upon further investigation, the officer recovered approximately $1,200 worth of copper telecommunication wire. The damage to property and infrastructure is estimated to exceed $10,000.
As a result, four individuals from Guelph have been charged with various offences including:
• Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000
• Possession property obtained by crime under $5,000
Theft or damage to telecom lines isn’t just property crime, it can cut off 911, medical alerts, and essential internet/phone service. When lines go down, whole communities can lose access to emergency help. It puts lives at risk and disrupts daily life.
Telecom wires are often targeted for their copper content, which is commonly resold at scrap yards, making them a target for theft. Wellington OPP urges the public to report any suspicious activity near telecom infrastructure.
Any person with information regarding this incident should contact the Wellington OPP at 1-888-310-1122. Or call @CSGWtips at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) to remain anonymous.
OPP reference number: E260279352.

It doesn’t get much more Canadian than this 😂🇨🇦
Jay Dearborn and Mike Evelyn O'Higgins give us the hockey-bobsleigh crossover we didn’t know we needed 🏒🛷
Catherine O’Hara and Eugene Levy parked this absolute heartstopper of a song right in the middle of a hilarious mockumentary and I think about it a lot.
What awful news from Washington. Presumably this also ends any chances Turnberry has of hosting The Open for the foreseeable future too. The R&A can’t really award the event to them after such a devastating attack on accessible public golf. So sad.
I am turning comments off on this post. I’ve never done that before but I can’t face reading the offensive comments which would no doubt come from some nutters on Hogmanay evening.
If you do agree though feel free to like this post or retweet!
@twitandrewking New development it was moved to is, I think, called Killmorie. Developer is Theberge Homes, hence Theberge Private. Love the old maps with lot owner names.
@JimHHartsell @SProctorGolf @ArranGolf This Canadian spent a couple of summers as a child in Arran. First golf I ever played was at Lochranza. Looking forward to your book.
@JimHHartsell @SProctorGolf @Crudenbaygolf Have been to Cruden Bay a couple of times. Love the small museum. How amazing would it be if the railway and hotel were still there?!
@jstlouis@YouTubeTV People used to say why should pay for cable when I get so many channels I don't watch. Now we are seeing the result where you have to pay for multiple platforms to see what you want and still wade through content choices that are not of interest. Give me back my "clicker" 😊
@Top100Rick I was fortunate to both play the Old Course and attend the Dunhill Tournament. And I agree. Seeing the old course in person brings the 3D to what you see on TV.
Oh boy. Someone has messed up Ryder Cup coverage in Canada. If you’re on Bell, no problem — you can watch on Golf Channel. But Rogers and Telus are showing a Jack Nicklaus documentary. Understandably, folks are not happy.
@TSNJR Would be nice to have partial roof, but overall looks good. Will be neat to be able to view football field and ice from inside the arena (if that is still the plan)
