@mhaynes223@BuffaloSabres You could make the argument that perhaps next year the value wont be there, but overall this is a fantastic contract. Some people just love being miserable
@716raised78@CharlesEMeade@Inside1Buffalo@ENCBillsBackers He played 43 games and posted a negative +/- in 3 of them. Finished the year at a +16. He posted a .60 WAR. Byram for reference was a .51
Guess Im failing to see why he shouldn’t get an opportunity
@NotDannyBriere I think more people would agree with you than you think, trading top 5 picks rarely happens, would be shocked if Buffalo flips it. 20th sure but not #4. Would have to be a pretty significant package id imagine for them to move it
@tomvsai@NHLBlackhawks Would be an all time failure for the Hawks if he doesn’t resign. I would also find it crazy if he wanted to go back to Buffalo after next season 😂
@Brainchild231@espn@emilymkaplan Not really a steal, the Sabres got something back for a player the Caps could have signed for nothing assets on July 1st, Buffalo wasn’t willing to pay him that and I don’t blame them.
@NIUFan2011@MarkusCross97@Toeknee25@frank_seravalli I think he may flourish in Buffalo’s system. Very excited he is a piece coming back. And the Greenway cap dump is also a win, although I’ve heard greenway is a fantastic locker room guy.
@filippi_nicolas@BasedBuff Agreed, this one prolly hurt. But also not a penalty. At first glance and based on the rest of the game I thought he sold it. Then I saw it again and yikes. Ouch. Not a flop.
@Kehodude@habs1973@BUFSportsTalk My whole life, its pretty easy. He stuck his leg out to force the contact and embellished the call. It’s pretty clear and obvious.
