Sadly, you can't really blame the investors in an environment where they buy land for hundreds of millions and building materials have never been this high.

1: Encourage more people to invest in real estate by giving them tax rebates for building a certain number of rental properties.

2: Provide affordable housing schemes to make supply match demand.

3: Reduce mass migration to Lagos by developing other cities.

4: Schedule a train at 6am from Ibadan so that more people can live in Ibadan and Abeokuta while working in Lagos. So they can conveniently use the train.
