New to $TSLA investing. My goal is to increase the number of shares I own. Going all in and ignoring the stock is too stressful. I want to have a strategy
The strategy I am following with $TSLA stock in 2026 is aimed to take advantage of how volatile it is. I have shares from 448$ from 2025 down to 424$ from today. Very slowly when it's up I trim the expensive shares, when it goes down I buy new lows.
@JOBhakdi Why did you trim your exposure when TSLA was low and increase it when it's at $380? Didn't you also say you would wait Firday/Monday and that skipping a day not that big of a deal.
$TSLA didn't close that bad. Now all depends on how the Cybercab event goes. Lots of bullish potential especially the form where you can suggest interest for purchasing a fleet of Cybercab. TSLAs plan is to add additional cabs wherever consumer fleets can't meet demand.
$TSLA hit my monthly goal of $370 after I bought in around $320. To follow my plan I would need to trim 25 shares. Buuut, I am not a fan of trading high volatile stock intra day. I prefer waiting out market close. Still unsure what I will do. Leaning bearish on crazy market open
@JOBhakdi I like this part but sounds like something an AI would write “Waiting one day costs almost nothing.
Guessing wrong on a coin flip costs a lot.”
My goal when I invest in a stock is to be in a position where I never have to sell it. Imagine you've bought $TSLA at IPO and it goes down today from $360 to $270, it wouldn't matter. That's what I want. To be in a position with a stock where I can hold it for years.
Well not surprised that $TSLA had a bad market open. The benefit at least is it lower the chances for a sell the news if the Cybercab event turns out to be neutral.
That was a very good close for the day out of $TSLA. To me close like this shows there is potential for way higher up - $390-$400 even maybe. I held up on trimming since $340 and happy I did. But now we are almost at my monthly target of $370. Question is do I trim 25 shares now?
@JOBhakdi $TsLA traders have been trained in recent times to have low expectations because we always get disappointed. I think a bad event is already priced in. So I agree, if sept 3 turns out bullish that would be a huge surprise and maybe a 10% up day.
