Indiaโs fertility rate has gone below replacement. Two people arenโt producing two people to replace them.
Most metro couples are opting for just one kid. Not coz of a lifestyle choice, but sheer affordability.
Such is the school fees that having two kids is like having two home loans. The EMI for which will keep increasing. The love of the sibling is being replaced by a dog or the Internet. We are going to be old as a nation, before we get rich. Tough.
What do you do when despite being a phenomenal outlier and a standout performer among all the then Indian batters, you still have to wait for that India cap?
The thought of "what more could I have done?" is surely deflating..especially if you are already 30 and the feeling of maybe the ship has sailed might start to sink in. Right?
No. Not if you are Suryakumar Yadav.
2 days after being snubbed, he went toe to toe with the Indian captain, didn't back down in the stare, went on to win the game for his side..and declared that he wasn't here just to be given a chance to represent India, but was here to claim a spot in the XI which was rightfully his and dominate world cricket.
First Indian cap after 12 years of hardwork..surely you should take some balls to get your eye in and look to have a decent personal score..right?
No. Not if you are Suryakumar Yadav.
He parked Jofra Archer on the very first ball he faced in the stands.
A breath of fresh air in a country obsessed with personal milestones..SKY showed the way of how modern day T20 cricket has to be played.
Average of 40+ and strike rate of 170+ for more than 2 years with back to back ICC Men's T20I Cricketer of the Year, breaking records became just another thing for him. Alongside Virat and Rohit, SKY became that player who made people stop all their work and watch him play and then switch off the TV once he was done.
One thing that unfortunately SKY had to deal with was the "did he score when it mattered" filter and that travelled with him everywhere. Indian audience never understood that T20 was a high risk format where one failed more often than not. Gone were the days of 140 strike rate being good enough.
But gradually the big performances came...the 68 in Perth on that spicy track against SA. The fifty on the slow Barbados pitch vs Afghanistan and their world class spinners in a must win game, the cameo vs Australia, the knocks vs USA that survived humiliation and the big big knock of 47 in the semifinal vs England. Had he not hung around with Rohit, we would have never won that semifinal.
It is a huge irony that the man who was always mocked for not having clutch moments..had one such clutch moment that shut the debate forever. "When it mattered" the catch of Miller..the one moment of brilliance from SKY just changed the course of Indian cricket history. Silverware jinx broke and we won the next three ICC events.
As a captain what SKY did has outdone everything he achieved as a batter. SKY was as selfless as his mentor Rohit and that showed in the monstrous DNA that he instilled in the Indian T20I team of 2024-26 cycle.
His personal form was in shambles and yet..yet he never shied away from staying true to his principles. The biggest example of this is the T20 World Cup Semifinal and Final on two of the flattest pitches India has ever produced.
SKY could have pushed himself at 3 and 4 and could have had decent returns in a bid to ease the pressure on his place in the team post the World Cup. But no..he sent Hardik and Dube ahead of him.
The man who hit the first ball of his first game for India for a six and the man who got out on the first ball of his last game for India (up until now) for the sake of the team..just showed why SKY has been a "team first" guy.
No matter how much I write for you Surya bhau..I will never be able to make justice to the impact you have had on me as a cricketer and most importantly as a human being.
You didn't need to be kind to me but you did. You didn't need to be kind to the fans who always questioned your "big match" stats but you always were kind. You always took all your players together and kept walking in one direction as a captain. And in the end..that's what will be remembered by everyone.
The greatest T20 batter India has produced.. and more importantly..one of the finest human beings I have ever come across.
One final push Surya..one final push ๐ฅบ

Tom Hanks shares the best advice heโs ever received
โThrow deep. If youโre gonna do it, do itโ
โIf you have the chance, do it. Donโt pause. If youโve got an instinct, go at itโ
what a privilege is it is to afford a gym, buy healthy food, pay bills, have legs that walk, eyes that see, a brain that functions, work every day, and take our bodies to their full potential.
- Kapil Dev sacked,
- Saurav Ganguly sacked,
- Sachin Tendulkar sacked,
- Rahul Dravid sacked,
- Rohit Sharma sacked,
- Virat Kohli sacked,
- Suryakumar Yadav sacked
- MS Dhoni sacked selectors
Respect for MS Dhoni, who never got sacked in any formats in modern day cricket & he sacked the decision makers instead when they tried to threaten his position as captain. He treated BCCI as his own den.
Started watching Made In India: A Titan Story last night.
Couldn't stop.
One complaint โ just one.
PRIME VIDEO WHY ARE YOU NOT SCREAMING THIS FROM THE ROOFTOPS???
This show deserves a parade. Not a whisper.
It's scary how easily a woman can ruin a man's life and get away with it ๐ฅฒ
> This is Shilpa Shinde
> She got fame in Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain
> Her payment was delayed for 2 months because the show wasn't doing well
> Producer Sanjay Kohli told the whole cast that he would pay them after 1 more month as he didn't have money at that time
> Everyone understood his situation
> But shilpa filed a sexual harrasment case on him
> Many people from the cast believed her
> Many female crew members left along with her
> No known girl was ready to take that role because of the controversy
> Luckily, his wife had worked with him for year so she trusted him over Shilpa
> Then she went to Bigg Boss and again brought up this topic there
> She kept defaming him for months on national tv
> That guy carried the stigma of a sexual harassment allegation for 10 years
> He couldn't do much big in life.
> He had plans to make a series but he couldn't because of his broken image
> Now recently, Shilpa admitted that her payment got delayed so she filed a fake case on him
> Neither she is arrested nor is any legal action being taken against her
> She is just fine living in her home while ruining a man's life for 10 years
> Public is criticizing her, but it's not going to benefit the man in any way
> His 10 years have been ruined ๐ฅฒ
Girls like her should be jailed for as many years as the fake allegation was maintained ๐
Her name is Sarita Kashyap,ย single mother for the past 20 years.
She has a daughter who is studying in college. To support her family, she runs a Rajma Chawal (kidney beans and rice) stall on her scooter near a CNG pump in Peeragarhi, Delhi. The prices are:
Half plate: 40 rupees
Full plate: 60 rupees
But...
Even if you don't have money, she won't let you go hungry. She'll feed you, saying, "Eat, pay when you can, or don't pay at all," regardless of your caste, religion, or community.
She feeds poor children in her neighborhood for free, and buys them school supplies, books, uniforms, shoes โ anything they need.ย
And yes...she also tutors the children in her free time.
Has any channel highlighted this woman?
No...
Because there's no glamour in this woman's story.
Anyway, I salute this woman from the bottom of my heart.
May she earn a lot and achieve great success in her life...
What if sum1 went after d killer but others didnt join him ? What if tht someone lost his life whilst helping this stranger ? What if tht someone neva got recognised on SM coz he didnt turn out to be a headless chicken ? Wht if tht sum1 chose his own life vs an unknown conflict ?
As the feminists say, women don't need men for anything
Why would you risk getting stabbed (and die yourself) for some woman you barely know and don't care about?
If he was unarmed, I'd help. But I'm not getting stabbed over someone else's dispute
We don't wish to "mansplant" like these corporate women keep telling us not to
To every child devastated by the NEET or CBSE fiasco: your marks are a number, not your worth. Many successful Indians were not defined by a degree โ Sachin Tendulkar never finished college, Mary Kom struggled for a degree, Dhirubhai Ambani dropped out of school. The world needs your courage, kindness, ideas, and dreams. An exam can be repeated. A life cannot. Stay. Breathe. Ask for help. Your story is far bigger than a report card. โค๏ธ
Your background doesn't define your future your hustle does.
It started with a simple request for a phone and grew into a lens for the world.
Donโt let your current circumstances limit your vision. Keep creating, keep growing, and make your mark.
Yeh ladka bahut talented hai.
Kya woh abhi bhi Nainital ki sadkon par kaam kar raha hai?
Main na sirf uski padhai mein madad karna chahta hoon, balki jaadu mein uski dilchaspi ko bhi badhava dena chahta hoon.
Kyon na woh duniya ke behtareen jaadugaron mein se ek bane?
Kya koi mujhe usse aur uske mata-pita se sampark karne mein madad kar sakta hai?
