En résumé, les interventions qui ne nécessitent pas d’antibioprophylaxie sont la prostatectomie, la curiethérapie, la néphrectomie qu’elle soit totale ou partielle, la surrénalectomie, la résection trans-urétrale de la vessie, la mise en place de bandelette sous-urétrale chez la femme, la toxine botulique, la chirurgie péniènne ou scrotale sans prothèse.

Les interventions nécessitant de la CEFAZOLINE en pré-opératoire sont la chirurgie endoscopique de la prostate, la cure de prolapsus, la mise en place de macroplastique, la mise en place d’implant pénien ou de prothèse testiculaire, l’urétrotomie interne, la néphrolithotomie percutanée, l’urétéroscopie, la montée de JJ et la greffe rénale.

Les interventions nécessitant la mise en place de CEFOXITINE sont la cystectomie et le sphincter artificiel.

Restons impliqués dans la décision de cette antibioprophylaxie dont le mésusage pourrait nous être reprochés.
