In the days leading up to the conflict in Iran, protests erupted across the country. By January 8, the government shut down the internet nationwide, cutting millions off from the outside world as the Iranian Regime massacred tens of thousands of people. Families and ministries outside Iran waited days without knowing who was alive.
Our Field Minister Qasem, an Iranian who lives in Türkiye, shares what it was like living through that silence.

In several countries, Christian men are forced into military units connected to extremist groups or government forces. Pray for protection and courage as they navigate impossible decisions. #Prayer#PersecutedChurch 1/9
While repeating the name of Allah in prayer, a young Muslim man saw something unexpected.
A cross appeared above him. Again. And again.
What others told him to reject, he began to recognize as a call. He knew Jesus was drawing him near.
God is still revealing Himself in the most unlikely places.

The courage of persecuted believers has a way of confronting our comfort.
When we see brothers and sisters risk everything to follow Jesus—and Field Ministers willingly step into danger to serve them—we’re reminded that faith often calls us beyond what feels safe or easy.

🚨 BREAKING: The United States and Israel have launched a joint military attack on the Iranian regime.
Here's what we know right now:
Trump announced "major combat operations" this morning, with explosions rocking Tehran and multiple other Iranian cities.
Strikes have hit Tehran, Isfahan, Qom, Karaj, and Kermanshah, including near the offices of Supreme Leader Khamenei.
It is critical to distinguish Iranians from the brutal regime they are under, which massacred thousands of people who took to the streets in protest in January. This regime violently oppresses persecuted Christians, often arresting them under false charges of espionage, especially during conflict with Israel. Trump addressed Iranians directly, saying: "When we're finished, take over your government. It will be yours to take."
We were able to briefly make contact with our Field Minister Fares very early this morning, but since then, the internet has been blacked out. We have not heard from our other Field Minister in Iran, Mahdi.
Our team recently spent several days in a secure location outside of Iran with Fares and Mahdi. During one conversation, Fares shared with us, "I am not afraid because God is with me." As Mahdi prepared to return to Iran, he told us that he would have to delete everything from his phone for security reasons. However, he wrote, "I will never forget the memories of the few days we spent together. I thank God for having you in my life."
Please remain in urgent prayer for the nation of Iran. May God break the grip of Islamic extremism that has cost so many lives, preserve the lives of Fares and Mahdi, and continue to build up His church in one of the most hostile places in the world.
“The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.” — Psalm 34:18
Persecution often breaks what once felt secure—family, safety, livelihood. Scripture reminds us that God does not withdraw in suffering; He draws nearer. Our persecuted brothers and sisters encounter Christ not from a distance, but in the middle of loss and fear.
This nearness becomes their strength when earthly support disappears. Many testify that they have come to know Christ more deeply through suffering than they ever did in comfort. This is the hope Help The Persecuted bears witness to every day as believers experience God’s closeness in their darkest moments.
PRAYER: Lord, draw near to every believer whose heart has been crushed by persecution. Let them feel Your presence, Your comfort, and Your saving power today. Amen

Iranian women are literally removing their hijabs and dancing in the middle of Tehran, two crimes in the Islamic regime. They have been longing for freedom for decades.
Can anyone explain why Western leftists who claim to care about women’s rights are against liberating them?
@elonmusk In this political climate, it’s so important for citizens to be able to quickly reach out to govt reps. I’ve used the text app, ResistBot, but they finance Democrat lobbyists. Any chance your team could create a non-partisan texting app like it? Thank you! 😊
Jesus Christ is before all things & in Him all things hold together. As broken as everything seems, He’s still holding it together. Those who love Him & willingly die for His name every day, will not be blotted out. I pray you someday experience the joy that life with Him brings.
