4 روز قبل کراچی کے ایک واقعے پر لکھا تھا، کیونکہ ناچیز سوشل میڈیا پر قائم ہونے والی عدالت اور اس عدالت میں متاثرین یعنی اہلخانہ کی ہر روز ہونے والی پیشی سے آگاہ تھا۔
ذرا اُس بیٹے کی ویڈیو بھی دیکھ لیجیے جو ہاتھ جوڑ کر سوشل میڈیا سے رحم کی اپیل کر رہا ہے۔
وہ ہاتھ جوڑ کر سلام نہیں کر رہا، وہ معافی مانگ رہا ہے۔
معافی اس بات کی نہیں کہ اُس نے کوئی جرم کیا ہے، بلکہ اس لیے کہ اُس کی ماں قتل ہو چکی ہے، اُس کا باپ جیل میں ہے، اُس کا گھر برباد ہو چکا ہے، اور اب پورا سوشل میڈیا اُن کے دکھ کو تماشہ بنا کر بیٹھا ہے۔
ایک خاندان اپنی زندگی کے بدترین سانحے سے گزر رہا ہے اور ہم میں سے بہت سے لوگ اسے تجزیوں، لطیفوں، تبصروں اور ویوز کا موضوع بنائے ہوئے ہیں۔
جرم اپنی جگہ ایک سنگین حقیقت ہے اور قانون کو اپنا کام کرنا چاہیے، لیکن کسی خاندان کے زخموں کو روزانہ عوامی نمائش بنانا انسانیت ��ہیں، بے حسی ہے۔
کبھی کبھی کسی سانحے پر رائے دینے سے زیادہ ضروری یہ ہوتا ہے کہ خاموش رہا جائے۔ ( عون عباس کی وال سے ایک تحریر )
