Joseph graduated with a Bachelors of Business Administration in Management Information Systems
Joseph is currently heading towards Deloitte for an Application and Program Analyst position based in Austin, Texas. He remains as ambitious and authentic as ever towards his goals.
Your Don name is a clear representation of the person you are, some always thriving to become and be better. You’ve lead through example and set a professional foundation within the brotherhood which we all are grateful for.
Graduate Spotlight to our very own Kevin “Faro” Suarez.
Kevin graduated with a Bachelor’s of Arts in English Writing with a minor in Management Information Systems.
But I’m glad for the ones I’ve made already!”
Despite your short time within the brotherhood you’ve helped us become bigger, bolder and most importantly, better. We have no doubt in our minds that you will continue to make a change in the places life will take you.
Volunteering alongside my bros and the OU community showed me how inclusive this school is, that I have a larger support system than I might have thought prior. I want to thank all the guys who have stood beside me through this past year and I wish I could make more memories.
Honoring our relatives who have passed was a great way to learn about the reverence my culture has for the dead. Volunteering for the OU community was a fulfilling experience because there were so many people that came out to celebrate our culture.
Kevin’s favorite part of being Phiota was volunteering at the Day of the Dead festival and preparing our altar. “It was a cultural moment for me to set up the altar, I had never done anything like that before.
Kevin, your brothers here at Beta Psi would like to congratulate you. Not only because you’ve accomplished what you’ve set your mind to but for paving the way for your siblings and family as a First Generation student. You have left a lasting impact to those around you.
Now that he has graduated, Kevin will be spending quality time with his family and taking a break for himself. Soon after he will begin his journey towards obtaining a Teacher Certification so he will be able to find a teaching career.
