Nursery ran The Childhood Daily Mile 2024 this morning, some ran even further! We raised money for the NSPCC 💚 @trustilluminate

In Nursery today, we tasted the seven fruits from our key text, Handa’s Surprise! We described them using actions and words and shared which fruits we liked and disliked. Lots of us liked them all but some weren’t sure about avocado! 🍌🥭🍍🍊🥑

Ladybirds had a Super Start to our new topic, Exploring Environments! We travelled to Kenya through role play. We arrived at the airport with our tickets. We then boarded an aeroplane, finding our seat number and colour row before taking off! ✈️🌍 @trustilluminate @ourFABschool

We enjoyed a special visit from a story teller this week! We listened so well using our imaginations and joined in with some parts of each of the stories told. Our visitor was so impressed with our amazing listening and the ideas we shared! 📖✨ @trustilluminate @ourFABschool

We had a visit from the Easter Bunny today in Ladybirds class! We made chocolate nests, went on an Easter egg hunt and enioyed many Easter and Spring themed activities! 🐣🌼 @trustilluminate @ourFABschool

Reception have had a super start to their new topic 'Secrets Of The Sea'. They are enjoying exploring the 'Under the Sea' and 'Ice Cream Parlour' role play areas, as well as rock pools, water and sand! 🌊🩴🤿🐚🐟🐠🦈🎣🍨🍦 @ourFABschool @trustilluminate

EYFS had a fantastic visit from the 'Bug Man'. They got to meet a Tortoise, Blue Skink Lizard, Tarantula, African Snails, Snake and more! 🐢🦎🐍🕷️🐌 @trustilluminate @ourFABschool

Reception had a ‘FAB finish’ to their topic ‘Marvellous Minibeasts’ today by dressing up as their favourite minibeast. We had a picnic on the field, parade around the playground showing off their fantastic outfits and let our beautiful butterflies fly into the wild! 🦋 🐝 🐞
