Nina is a Japanese macaque living at the Awajishima Monkey Center in Japan. She was born with severe limb malformations, leaving her without hands and with shortened arms. Despite this, Nina has adapted to her condition and lives alongside the other macaques at the center.
Our mission is simple: make Nina known around the world.
Through the collective effort of the community, we want more people to discover Nina, share her story, follow her journey and learn about the Awajishima Monkey Center that looks after her and the other macaques.
This is bigger than spreading a name. Attention can create real support.
As the community grows and SOL fees are generated, everyone has the opportunity to individually donate those funds to the Awajishima Monkey Center. There is no need to make promises on behalf of the center or claim an official partnershipโthe goal is simply to use the attention we create around Nina to encourage real, voluntary support for the place she calls home.
Make Nina famous. Tell her story. Support her home.
