#WorldEnvironmentDay might be wrapping up, but the climate challenge isn’t. Neither is the growing movement of people, cities and countries taking action.
This is just a glimpse of the action, ideas and momentum driving climate action around the 🌎.

Pleased to welcome Mark Lee, globally recognized K-pop artist, rapper and singer, to Baku as part of the cultural programme of #WorldEnvironmentDay2026.
World Environment Day brings together people, ideas and cultures from across the world, demonstrating that environmental action is not only about policies and technologies, but also about awareness, creativity and human connection.
We discussed the growing role that artists and cultural figures can play in raising awareness of climate and environmental challenges and inspiring younger generations to engage in sustainability efforts.
We also discussed the potential for future cooperation with him to help strengthen public engagement on climate action and environmental awareness.
